No idea, but point him in the direction of the Lush hatboxes if he "needs" to spend the money - a more luxurious version of stuff you want might appease his needs.

I've just sent my husband in the direction of my Amazon list. It has 11 items on it and only one is over £5 (and that's for the baby :rotfl:). I am hoping he'll just buy the whole thing, but if not it is carefully ranked ;)

    Three gifts left to buy
  • set a spending limit on presents

and if you set it at something fairly small it makes people be more resourceful
my OH is great at picking gifts for me, i am the hardest person in the world to buy for, so everyone asks what i want
truth is, i dont want anything, so it presents a major headache

last year, what did OH buy me?

    a steel drum!
    i've always wanted one
    it was magnificent:T

    sorry i digress

I had this problem with OH last year! In the end he forced me to write a list, and so i forced him to agree a budget which if he went over I informed him that I would return the items!! On my list were things which needed replacing, i.e. slippers, pj's, and a soap and glory hatbox (ok so not a necessary but i needed some new bath things!). Good luck! :)
