Same as last Xmas from OH - a new phone
It was a Samsung Tocco Lite last Xmas but this Xmas its gonna be a Samsung Monte I think
I really want a Nottingham Rugby shirt but I think hell will freeze over before OH gets me one of them :rotfl: *The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Probably a bit of a killjoy but I'd love people to stop saying they're atheist/agnostic then spend like crazy at Christmas..what are they celebrating, exactly? Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, the fairy on the Christmas tree?!
I'm !! years old so have most things I want and everything I need but last year did ask for money toward a garden shed, the previous year a laptop battery and this year it'll be donations towards my now-or-never trip to India in Feb
. I have to really insist my family/friends don't buy me chocolates and biscuits (I had 4 tins last year and I'm too big already
) alcohol (I'm teetotal) and smellies (I'd love them but I'm allergic to a lot
).
If they don't want to do that I ask them to give to Water Aid. Most people have never tried going without water for a day for drinking, washing and flushing, it's almost impossible. What I don't understand is why people are reluctant and insist of buying me something I don't want
Of course I buy the the family what they want, but wouldn't dream of telling them most of their gifts come from sales and charity shops

I hope all your wishes come true :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
A visit from the decluttering fairy, so then I could enjoy my home without having to negotiate tons of carp!

A couple more hours in the day, so I could get back to crafting, sewing, DIY etc when littlies asleep!
Failing that, I'd be content with a really good digital SLR camera, a few new books I'm after, a bottle of my fave wine & a bar of my fave chocolate!

I came up with my list as I dont want for anything really either - so had to think about the luxuries in life that I dont buy for myself.... It sounds like xmas in your house is a bit like ours - its a big/mad affair but my 'little un' is now 18 so not quite as much fun to buy for!!
To me it doesnt sound like you really want a sat nav. If thats the case just tell him. Im sure he'd love to buy you something to put a BIG smile on your face. (I have gone as far as chosing a ring and getting the code and handing it to OH, saying happy xmas to me lol):rotfl::rotfl:
Oh yes, big mad affair but lots of fun, it's lovely to spend time with family as it can be difficult fetting everyone in one place any other time of the year :rotfl:
I don't really want a satnav, it's a nice little gadget but it wouldn't really get used. I think I would prefer a nice dress and a meal out to be honest, or smething a bit more personal like new charms for the charm bracelet he got me a few years back.
I like your idea of printing out exactly the make model price number etc, brilliant. May have to do this and stick it on the kettle, the one place he goes most often :rotfl:Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
I've got a list which I give to my parents, grandparents and a couple of other relatives. My birthday's in November so the list covers both occassions.
Currently it's got mostly DVD's on it. As well as a few books, some Nightmare Before Christmas candlestick holders, Wicked (the musical) merchandise, a beanie hat with built in headphones for my MP3 player and origami paper.
I was going to ask for a 1TB External HHD. But I'm not sure if I need one just yet. Might be able to make my 250GB HDD last another year.0 -
I want the kids and myself, to have a great day.0

Haven't really thought about it yet, we're just looking forward to spending the day with DD (just turned 1) and the rest of the family.
Last year we could only afford to spend £10 on each other (as opposed to £100 previously). As we had to be creative with money we concentrated on something we knew the other wanted (a purse for me and book for DH) then added a couple of smaller fun things. The gifts meant far more to us than in previous years.Making small changes everyday....0 -
I would like a nice family day out somewhere, tickets to see a comedian, Pink Hunter Wellie Boots, Chocolates, Uggs, Socks, Perfume, Underwear, Handbag, a lie in bed, Gym Clothing, Jeans, Hoodie........obviously not all at once though!
It was my Birthday last week though......and I got nothing!
but My Husband got to go and watch Man U with a friend
