I'd like a "favours" chequebook from hubby :) 10xwill tidy the kitchens, 10x will get up and deal with the small one, 10x sex!, 10x dinners cooked and maybe 1 or 2 for "will help on the allotment"!

In reality what I'll get is a pretty crystal ornament from Swarovski :) which I love, but I want something pretty to display them on... And possibly some Lush things... something cute from our daughter and eh... anything else I think of :)
My birthday is just before christmas so I usually get just one big pressie... not that I mind but I do love opening pressies lol they can be 50p ones for all I care :D

I'd really like some money to go underwear shopping with. I'm a bit of a weird shape and not a common high street size so a matching set with two panties usually costs me in the region of £40 - that's more than I spend on a pair of jeans! I can buy cheaper sets but I'm generally very uncomfortable after 30 minutes so they're only really good for the bedroom.

There isn't really a lot I want though. I could name a few books and I always like new socks. I usually have to put a list together for OH to give him inspiration - I think I started this year's in March and there are still only a handful of things on it.

My favourite part is giving gifts. For OH and my sister (both students away at University) I love to give a mixture of needs and wants in a box. So things like shower gel, new socks and replacement pens, but mostly wants like chocolates and food they couldn't justify buying themselves, a nice book and then something special. For Dad, he already has pretty much everything he wants (that I can afford) so he gets something nice and music related - this time it's an ornament that I got at 50% off - should've been £50! Mom is a bit harder, but it'll probably be pamper related. For a friend, I usually buy loads of sweets and an itunes gift card but this year several of us are clubbing together to get him a new ipod.

    I've started on a list..
I need a few new rings really... one of mine broke and I can't really wear my wedding/engagement/eternity rings any more.. though I love my engagement ring I might wear it anyway.. it is pretty!
Socks.. I am getting short of them,
a nice plain chain.. my sister got me a twisted one last year that rips out my hair and pee's me right off.. though it is very pretty too.
    DAB radio for upstairs
a matching pair of those touchlamps for the bedroom.
a huge rug for the middle room to cover up the hateful carpet in there
a big photograph of the children for the front room.. and mabe a few smaller ones of them individually.

I love little presents too.. silly things.

    I'd really like driving lessons

That may look like a monster list BUT my birthday is boxing day.. and I will NOT have 'joint' presents.. that is just stingy!

I'm getting my Christmas present early this year, my daughter who has lived in America for the last 5 years is coming home for good at the beginning of December :j.
  • Well my husband has finally got a new job :j after 3 years of endless interviews and let downs so this year i would like a bit of spoiling! All the time he has been unemployed i have refused to let him buy me prezzies (ive let the kids give me a little £5/£10 prezzie at xmas) and ive just concentrated on the OH and the kids. So this year i would like (dont expect all but some would be nice):

Tickets to go see Enrique Iglesias :p ,
    Perfume,
A new wedding ring as i some how managed to lose mine a few years back(preferably something a bit blingy hehe),
Supernatural series 3/4/5 (already got 1 and 2),
Some sexy underwear would be nice :p ,
And to see everyones super happy faces on xmas morning when they open all there fab prezzies (most i have got from mse so thanks to all the fab posters for their brilliant ideas and excellent bargain hunts :D ).
  • Last year I asked for staging for my greenhouse and glass panes to replace the broken ones - no more than 6.

Not only did I get these but I also got a DAB radio (we can't get a DAB signal here which is dissapointing) with ipod dock etc which was a total suprise and I loved it.

This year i'd like an A-Frame planter for outside the house for salad and herbs etc. Also I would like a years supply of compost - lol I get though loads of the stuff.
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

I would like a new spade, pjs, a pincushion, wool, a gravy skimmer, a lie -in , a diary, new handbag, leather gloves, a cookery book, a knitting book, a dressing table and stool (big ask here) and some perfume. Now I've typed that it's quite a lot really.:o
Last year I got a load of manure (seriously!) and best of all my Dad spread it and dug it in for me, a new fork, hand trowel, a bird feeder, books, smellies, pjs and chocs. I'm sure I got more than that but I can't remember.

As for the comment about Atheists and agnostics "celebrating" Christmas, we celebrate the opportunity to be with our family and friends, to see them happy and to enjoy good food together if you must wonder:p

  • In dream world 'that' tiffany necklace with the bow or a pretty bracelet!

    More realistically some nice smellies

But most of all to enjoy Christmas day with my 2 girls
