  • You might be interested to look at the V21/Biscit Service Update page where there is now a facility to post messages and complaints (http://v21status.biscit.net/index.php?/archives/32-Service-Update-2nd-January-2007.html#comments).

    I wonder if anyone from Biscit will actually read them, let alone respond to any of the issues raised?

    Perhaps enabling this facility is actually a mistake?

    For anyone that can still login into the secure area of v21 members portal,
    heres the link for the members portal, as it seem to have vanished from the main page, but is still in operation behind the scenes.

    Some of you may have noticed that the "cancel account" button is missing. Well here's the link, but you need to be logged in for it to work.

    Now, the link did nothing for me but display a message "You are currently in contract. This is due to expire on ......... After that date you will be able to gain access to this option.". Maybe, just maybe it might be able to help you, but dont hold your breath. ;)

    i have cancelled with fast4 by registered letter and recieved a reply saying i am cancelled (last month). they have still taken the monthly amount from my credit card. how can i stop them doing this?

    Kick up merry hell with your CC company by showing the proof that you have cancelled and v21 have confirmed this and therefore the money has been "stolen" from you.

Please email support@biscit.net with as much detail as possible and we will respond quickly to help resolve your issue. Please note that MAC address or cancellarions can only be accepted by post and that customer support have no visibility of your payments.

    The V21 Portal is offline and will remain so whislt our developers secure and repair it. This service was taken offline to prevent the double charges and other billing errors that customers were suffering from. Please bear with us whilst we rebuild this service.

    I tried the links, clicked to start the questionnaire (which one has to go through in order to cancel) and received this message:

    "Seems there are some problems with this questionnaire at the moment,

    Please call customer services
    on 0870 442 9600 to speak with one of our service staff.

    Thank you."

    Presumably this means that they have cancelled my account even though I have never received any acknowledgement or confirmation of receipt of my letter!?

    No, it just means that they haven't bothered to fix it yet for your login.

    I'm still a customer, I haven't sent them anything to say that I'm cancelling, and they are still taking my money, BUT I can't get into that memebers area.

    When I wrote to tell them this they said that it was " down fo maintenance" despite the fact that a lot of people can still get on.

    I've tried this link and can access the control panel.

    Not much good if you still can't cancel etc! :(

    Thanks for the link info the other day ,unfortunately this is the same link as I have been using.

    From a quick scan of the last few days postings it would seem I'm not the only one with this problem.

    To recap I have tried all combinations of username or full email address with the various passwords I've used, plus any emergency ones that have been suggested on this forum.It's always "Invalid log in details".

    One small glimmer of hope, after carefully examining Decembers bank statement, Biscit have NOT taken any payment dare I assume this is their way of crediting me my excess payments, or will they take two in January.

    The v21status page does mention sorting out excess payments.
    Would it have been too much to expect some form of communication, email etc, after all I've had no contact from them since early November.

    Perhaps I'm expecting too much from this shower!
    Move along, nothing to see.
