Good luck Michelle, hope all goes well for you! :j

Happy Birthday to ageandjo, whata lovely load of prezzies you got

All the best for the new job Mr P, The only way to get my OH into Ikea is to pay him :D

Had to go to Tesco this morning, as we are seriously out of food! Spend the weekend away at the in-laws in south Wales, then yesterday I was out of the house from 6am - 9pm on a mammoth "London & back in a day" trip. Very proud of myself as I remembered to take my own bags (to Tesco's - not London :rotfl:) They had a Morphy Richards breadmaker on offer in T's for £35, which loked like a good buy. I'm considering one for the OH for Christmas (;)), but I didn't see it til the way out & couldn't be bothered to go back in & buy it.

The freezer clear out continues tonight with fish pie for tea (the Jamie O recipe) and I'm planning a coq au vin for later in the week.

Better crack on, got a ton of emails to send before I head out this aft (into Manchester - work) & I can hear thw washing machine beepingto tell me it's finished.

Take care all, see you later

    HOW BLOOMIN EXCITING!!!!!!

Hope it is all going well for you Michelle & DH.
We are all thinking of you today.
Well, just had a meeting for the PTA and all is going well so far. Another meeting tonight to organise the Xmas Bazar which will be exciting. A lot of work involved but I feel really good for doing it as the money we raise isnt used for frivolous bits its used to pay for the upkeep of the library, the yearly literacy fund, a coach trip for each class each year etc. I know it is genuinally benefitting the children.

Well done on the new job Mr P, I am currently applying for evening work at ASDA, every penny counts and all that. Will be knackered though as the kids generally have me up at 6.30am and the evening shift is 6pm till 11pm.

Hope your test results are what you are hoping for CATOWEN.
    Happy Birthday to AGEANDJO.

Righto, WM jusy finished it cycle so gotta hang the load somewhere round the house. We are currently festooned in an array of drying clothes over every avalible area.

    Catcha later,
    Al.

    Hi Y'all,

   a bubba on the way....DON'T PANIC:eek:   All the best Michelle, remember it isn't pain, it's a muscle contracting;) :D I've heard you are naming said child with the suitable OS name of VINNY (short for Vinegar of course):rotfl:

All this bubba news is making me feel broody:rotfl: and yearn for clothes smelling faintly of possett! and Heinz Fishermans Supper!

Luckily for new parents this season brown is the new black, I found only wearing clothes the colour of baby poo for the first year covered a multitude of sins was a real boon. If Martin ever writes a book on OS baby rearing he can have that little tippett for free:p

I remember doing Christmas shopping in August one year to get it all done before MATHLETT #1 arrived in Nov and another year 'enjoying' a summer holiday in Blackpool in Apr before MATHLETT #2 was thrust apon us, apart from frost bite and wind burn usually only associated with extreem mountaineering it was great! By the time MATHLETT #3 was cooking we didn't care/know where we were or what time of year it was. LOL

Ahhh...the memories. Anyone who hasn't sung 'The wheels on the bus' at 3am in the morning hasn't lived and those that have havn't slept. LOL

    Happy Birthday day Angeandjo_party_

    Have agood day

    Hi everyone,

    Hope everything's going well Michelle.

    Happy birthday Ageandjo.

Congrats on the new job Mr P and good luck catowen.

Very tired today - DH didn't sleep well (I think his BIL's death is affecting him). The trouble is he drops off straight away and then wakes in the early hours while it takes me ages to get to sleep most nights and then I don't wake unless he's restless, so I'm being sleep deprived at both ends!:o

Forgot to say I lost 4.5lbs at weight watchers last night so am feeling proud of myself.

OS activities - Make fish pie - half to freeze. Parcel up lots of books I want to pass on to grandchildren (if I ever have any) and put in loft.:T

NonOS activities - watching the football.:D

Michelle - congratulations! Hope everything has gone/is going well and is over/almost over. I was like you, waters went before contractions. I tidied the landing at the top of the stairs (well, I had just started and wasn't going to leave a mess!), packed my bag (she took me by surprise) and drove () to tesco! It took my mind off it and by the time I got to the hospital I didn't have any drugs.

Must have cross posted. Once your water breaks I thought you needed to be put in hospital.
I had to because I was early, but apparently if you're on time you're fine for a few days. But I had thought that before, too.

My os today is - washing up (bed clothes, white wash), tidying up and (my favourite) baking! My uncle gave us a bag of apples from his son's garden so I'll be doing something with those, not sure what, though! Shall be getting the keys to my new flat so have lots of planning (:T) to do for that, too.

Good luck Mr P. - hope you're better at finding the products better than some of the workers, especially at my Ikea! and Catowen - hope everything goes well for you.
    Congrats AgeandJo.

    Well, that went well

The school rang and said miss troo has an upset stomach so she's coming home. She felt a bit 'off' this morning but said she was OK to go to school. She said she'll be OK now so I should go out, but now I'm home I don't think I can be bothered :D Oh well, plenty of housework to do
