  • Just a quickie to wish Michelle a speedy and pain-free delivery of a beautiful healthy baby. Can't wait to hear whether you get the washing dry before setting off for the hospital. :rotfl: What are you like?? I was semi-hysterical by the time my waters had finished behaving like a mini-tsunami all over the sitting room carpet!!

Also wanted to wish Ageandjo a very happy birthday - hope your day is full of lovely surprises!

    Lastly,
I think OH is going to paint the toilet this morning then I have my hair appointment at noon.
erm .. was it something he ate??? (Sorry, couldn't resist! )
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:

Oh, what excitement - I love a new baby, but so calm Michelle, I'm really impressed.

Another day of graft ahead, but breads made, lots of soup left (the split roasted pumpkin method was excellent - (if your reading this OP then thanks:D ) Still loads of pork left, so will have to be inventive - (and search database for something tasty), funny how I never can think of eating cold pork any other way (apart from hot toasted sandwiches, with a bit of gravy on one side of the bread and apple sauce on the other :o )

Popping in to lidl later, and might have to throw a cake in the oven - I need something to combat that mid-afternoon low that always hits when you're up to your eyeballs (well, it always hits me  ) How do people forget to eat? I've never been able to understand it, no-matter what's happening in my life, both good and bad, I still get hungry!

Take care all, hope all your respective day's go as well as they can, including the entrance of one brand new Oser.
  • Good luck Michelle, hope everything goes well.

    Good luck Michelle

A tip I heard about birth which is vey old style is that when the contractions start you should start making a fruit cake - and aparently when the baby is born the cake will be ready - and all the visitors should be happy.

I think this was from a home birth guide - with DD I did mean to do this but was not orgnaised enough.

Well not much old stype here to day - trip to doctor for DD. She had a rash when she was small which they kept saying was baby exema - she seem to still have scars/spots left now - so I want to get them checked before she has her MMR
then a morning at toddlers - which hopefully will tire them out

    Hugs to all

Michelle, I hope the next couple of days go well for you, you are about to have the most amazing days of your life.

    Happy Birthday Ageandjo.

I slept well last night as did the children. Children are fed and watered and the packed lunches are made. Off to visit my Grandma this morning who is feeling pretty miserable after a knee replacement she had didn't go completely to plan, dd 2 yr old should cheer her up as long as she doesn't jump on her.

Got another nice points voucher from Mr T's, 500 points for a £15 spend on clothes so am going to try and buy a coat for my niece in Oz as her mum says she couldn't find anything for her last winter.

My Dad is popping over later to pick up a computer that oh fixed for him and then I am going to attempt to make Freyaluck's smoked haddock and spinach, ricotta pie that was recommended on another thread.

I hope everyone has a good day and I will be looking forwards to hearing the good news over the next couple of days.

    :)
