Morning everyone - hope you are all well.:hello:

Enjoyed the journey up to work listening to Bunty on the wireless. Helps to pass the time and I know I am just about at work when Sir Tel arrives. I try to listen on the 'puter in case there is a Janet and John story, but have to mute it to look more professional when anyone comes near my office (lucky me, I have my own so able to dip in to MSE now and again). I make a mug of tea, put it in one of those water bottles with a 'teat' thing on it and guzzle to my heart's content all the way up the motorway. Now if only I could do toast in the cigarette lighter!!!!! ;)

Picked up a yog maker on freecycle so looking forward to using that tonight - no instructions, but again, the site has come up trumps and I found some information on another thread. The chap who gave me the yogmaker says he puts drinking choc in, which sounds intersting. I miss the Muller light choc flavour yogs - I think I was def inthe minority there!!! :D Any other suggestions for flavouring yoghurts?

Nice to see you back Snowy - hope you are well and looking forward to the new job.

  • Morning Guys!

Why was the thread removed yesterday? I was at 2 different hospitals throughtout the day and didnt have the energy to post last night and thought I'd catch up and nothing is there:confused:

WM is on, DW half full and toilet cleaned. Stew that was made is being blitzed to soup and frozen today.

Very bad news at the hospital yesterday about my right leg where the clot is/was. Its been over a year since they found the clot and it had basically cut all blood flow (85%)to the bottom of my leg as it was deep in my femular(sp) artery/vein. Have been on Warafin since but have had 2 scans done and since then and although the blod clot has reduced it has damaged that main artey/vein (I cant remember which). Yesterday they said that as its so bad and the blood still isnt coming through that I will need surgery and that if its that bad they may have to take my leg off:eek:    ....surely that cant be right. My leg keeps swelling to 3 times its size and it hurts so much where the blood is trying to pump through and its now affecting my heart as the blood flow is struggling so much. My leg is cold all the time and they are worried that it is being restricted too much coz the blood isnt getting through. Before anything is decided...I want a second oppinion!!

I know its not very OS, but just needed supporting ears and friends to say Im gonna be ok. I havent told anyone else and dont want to as I think it must be a horrid mistake.

Anyway, Im going to kill myself....only joking BTW:D I already walk weird ATM and dont want to walk like Robocop. You have to laugh about it...dont you:rotfl:

Hows the no smoking going Queenie-hope your doing ok.

    Hugs to all

    PP

PP get as many opinions as possible:grouphug: Thinking about you and yours.

Just made supper for tonight ;) Beef with quinces in the sc. No recipe just made it up as I went along - sort of Morrocan tajine-thing.
I can report that quince muffins are yummy (made with quince puree).
Loads of laundry to do today and a spot of bed-making.
