If you are ok with the way it is now, we can leave it at that.
I left these two because I thought maybe yourself and/or your girlfriend installed them.

Donnie im gonna call it a night before i make even more mistakes than i am already lol ! Dont know how you do it mate
Many thanks for all your help and you have the patience of a Saint !
Just one more thought will i be able to take out the ethernet lead and plug back in to my other original wired connection to the hub ?
Only asking because girlfriends eldest was using the ethernet for his PC before i used it to do this !
Thanks again for all your help Donnie you're a diamond !
Only a laptop left to sort out now lol0 -
I'm confused, as all wired connections are Ethernet. Have you only one Ethernet lead?
Anyway, the machine we have just worked with should go back to working wirelessly if it did before.0 -
There are 2 wired connections from the hub, one to our PC and one to Gf's eldest i knew one was the ethernet which eldest had and thought the other was called something else which was plugged into ours ! ! Sorry forgive my stupidity
If they are both ethernet thats fine i just thought the other which was wired to ours was labelled something else on the BT hub !
But what the hell do i know mate take no notice lol
Many thanks again Donnie0 -
My mistake about the cables mate , it was just we had to get a lead ages ago for the eldests PC as we tried wireless a a couple of times with his PC to the hub with no joy so needed a wired connection for him. It had to be a bit longer than normal and just remember it being an Ethernet one. For some unknown reason i had it in my head the cable to ours was called something else ! but i was wrong unsurprisingly lol. It matters not all leads are as they were and all seems fine fingers crossed !
Thanks again for all your advice and help and most of all your patience :beer:0 -
