Hi Debit to be honest ive no idea will need to check , the !!!!!!ed laptop and PC run off the BT homehub but this one im using ( which is fine , touch wood ! ) now has a T-mobile broadband stick. the only way i can post at the moment.
Whats the quickest way to check the IP addy mate please /

Unplug it from the back of the main PC and plug it in to the working laptop. Takes but a few seconds. See you later.

Hi guys back again here goes -

The ethernet cable is now plugged into the working laptop and is working no probs also tried wireless and that was fine too , strong signal etc.

What should i do next sorry to make you guys backtrack but dont want to jump the gun and make a mistake !

Assuming i have to download it onto the PC now and install it and run it ( do i have to do this in safe mode or anything like that ? )
