You can do, but if you fix this first you should regain Internet access. Tick and fix:
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1

then go to the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings. Take the tick out of Use a Proxy Server for your Lan and then click the OK button.

Try using the browser now. If that doesn't work, reboot.

    Next, those toolbars. :)
  • Ok mate will do gotta go out for a bit then i'll get on the case cheers Donnie
  • Hi Donnie

    Used the Norton removal tool

Do you actually want all those toolbars?

    Download, install and run CCleaner
Go to Tools > Start up and click on the save to text file button in the bottom right hand corner. Save the text file to your Desktop. Go to Tools > Uninstall and repeat the exercise.
Post both of these in your reply.
  • Sorry Donnie Ive run it the first time and saved the file to desktop.

When you say uninstall is that when it clears the first text file ?

Do i then re-run ccleaner again and save the second file to desktop ?
  • I hope this is what you wanted

You can use CCleaner disable all of the items in the first list. You can keep this one on yes: Yes HKLM:Run MSSE "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials\msseces.exe" -hide -runkey

Just click on the (yes)es one by one and choose Disable.
