Tried again this morning and this is the message i've had !
ISA Direct Reward is available for limited periods only and is not available to open at this current time. We have a range of other cash ISAs available, please click here to find out more.0 -
Thanks for the warning.
I've opened two this morning without getting those messages.0 -
I must be doing something wrong then !
Will give them a call and post again.0 -
Have you tried refreshing your browser?
Perhaps it happened once and now the page is cached.0 -
I have just re-designated my Reward 2 to the new one over the phone with no problem at all. 3% from today instead of 2.8%. Not a lot of difference but worth doing plus the new ISA promise will notify any interest changes and if anything better comes along.0

Also changed mine from Reward 2 to 3. I did it over the phone and it only took a few mins. Very easy.
Its still on the web site tho, I've just checked.£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -

I think you'll find that the Isa Direct Reward 2 was not eligible for the extra 0.2%, so you were only getting 2.6%.
Definitely makes it worthwhile getting 3%.0 -
After reading the above posts, is there actually a chance this account will be withdrawn soon? I was planning on opening one when I get my bonus at the end of October. Should I open one now just in case?0

Assuming you haven't subscribed to another ISA this tax year, then why not open it with £1 now and then top it up when the bonus comes in?After reading the above posts, is there actually a chance this account will be withdrawn soon? I'd expect them to keep it open at least until the end of October. They'll be wanting all those over 50s who dabbled in ISAs and their new £5,100 limit from 6th October 2009 to transfer over to them.0
