sounds nice someone getting on with normal stuff, moving on from debt! I think when you in debt (prob when you proceeding with BR) it seems all life and time consuming it the only thing you can think of and every thing else is going through the motions. (or that the way it feels at mo) and it seems strange getting on with tiling the kitchen! hope it looks nice!

Hi Mike,
I don't want to pick holes in this or anything but I am a little surprised at some of the expenditure. I am assuming this is for one person?
Do they allow for Dry Cleaning?
Re prescriptions - if this is for one person, you would better off paying for the yearly card, which is currently £95.xx and would save you money.
My DMC said you could only claim £20 per month for clothing/footwear
My DMC said I cannot claim for Christmas/b'days/holidays
Just my thoughts!0 -

rog2 wrote:Hey Scoot - I can see that this whole process is worrying you, so please can I offer you some advice?
Go and make yourself a cup of coffee and sit down with a pen and paper, then write down ALL of the things that worry you.
Don't worry if it is a long list, or if you have already asked the question.
Once you have made your list, post it on here then we'll be able to advise you a bit better as some questions will impact on others.
In the meantime - don't worry. Neither the judge, nor the OR, has any interest in trying to make you feel like a criminal or putting you down in any way. Bankruptcy is a way of dealing with a situation that would otherwise be considered hopeless. At ALL stages in the process the overriding interest of those people who are dealing with you is to sort out the situation.
You are one of a growing number of people who find themselves in this situation and bankruptcy will give you a genuine chance of putting the past behind you.
Once it is over, you will wonder what the hell you were worrying about.
Can I add something to this? I don't have my IVA proposals either. I sent the paperwork to the DMC whom perused it, telephoned me, went through all the details on my form for expenditure and income, then said I couldn't do an IVA and that I would be far better off going br. Nothing was ever sent back to me by mail, no letters, got nothing returned!0 -

Its for 2 of us hun....
The birthday holiday thing is simply a 'lets see if we can' as said its only draft and the insoolvency service sent me those things that we could claim ffor... We both went B remember, so there are 2 of us in the budget...
Im not sure if J has ever looked at the yearly thing... I think its juts that its a lot £95 all at once...0
