Yes thank you, I have made more research on this and am absolutely confident now about it! :cool:0 -

Yes you can. These numpties do not do court. Ever.0 -
My husband has just received a letter from Roxburghe debt collectors for entry into a bus lane at Luton Airport. Judging by all the comments will we be safe to just ignore the demand for £121.12?0

I have recieved a letter from Roxburghe on the 15/12 after ignoring the initial letter from Apoca. I will carry on ignoring any letters but I'm wondering if they have ever taken anyone to court?
They are looking for £121.120 -
The reason drivers are getting fined at Luton airport is because they are stopping on a roundabout to either pick up or drop off passengers when the drop off area is only 30m away.
I have seen with my own eyes families getting out and going to the boot to get their luggage and nothing can get past while they say their goodbyes. This is an incredibly stupid thing to do. Not only is it dangerous but it holds up traffic. I have no sympathy so pay up as there are enough warning signs.0 -

There are always going to be irresponsible people driving, so your lack of sympathy is not relevant when we are talking PPCs issuing invoices, they should be completely ignored. Sorry this company are there to make profit only, they have no regard to safety, we have had people invoiced at this airport who were in a traffic jam, do you have sympathy for them, should they pay?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
So the people here were not dropping or picking up passengers on the roundabout or in the bus lane which is also on the roundabout. I think you will find that there is photographic evidence to say otherwise. Would you stop on your local town centre roundabout to pick up passengers? Don't think so
Whether these people pay the fine or not it will have the desired effect as they won’t be doing it again.0
