Hello dear friends.. I have arrived in America last evening, and made it through duty free with a free spritz of perfume and a sarnie from Pr*t (thought about Piq) and ate that instead of airline food on the plane.

Almost missed my connection so got a boost of 2,000 extra aerobic steps as I ran like a nutter from one terminal to the next, but at least I smelled nice. :)

Jet lag was a bit rough, fell asleep right away but was up at about 4am trying to fall back asleep.

Had a lsd today because I bought 2 pairs of control top tights (we call them pantyhose ha ha ha ha) the see thru nude ones to keep as spares in my laptop bag in case I ladder any over the next 4 days. both pairs cost $6

Will spend early evening pressing off my blouses and stuff as I will probably get tired soon.

All meals and everything are expensed so will try for NSD tomorrow

PS need to really get cracking on the weight loss. I read this little sign "do not reward yourself with food, you are not a dog" so I am going to keep thinking of how to reward myself :)

Hello NewLeaf, well done for avoiding the horrible and expensive 'plane grub! :D

Wonderful :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: to hear that you're keeping up with your exercise routine!

Yuk to jet-lag. Hope it's worn off now.

Nice one - make the most of it. ;)

When you find the ideal reward, please don't keep the knowledge to yourself < said Robin who just awarded herself two HM bakewell tarts for keeping her temper today - before reading your post! :o >
