  • Been there, got the t-shirt x.

I remember when a close relative of mine lost their mind in the most humiliating fashion, thinking I would rather die than have it happen to me, and when it did happen to me, I survived.

    It all takes time though.

    God bless you xx.

being alive is a good thing. Will look at the bio oil to see how much it is.

Yes the trips are exhausting. One to NY and one to Phoenix!

Hi again, just had a very bracing walk; Clever Dog didn't want to come home (waiting for the bunnies to appear at dusk I think - she was disappointed as I was just too cold to hang about while she snuffled in the bushes. When I called her, two dogs showed up - she was followed by a very disobedient terrier who completely ignored his owner's frustrated yells).

Actually Bio-Oil might be cheaper in the US than the UK, as I think it was developed there. Tosco sells it at £14.49 for 125ml or £8.60 for 60ml, if you want to check to see if you can get an MSE deal. ;)

8.10. ETA - Saw an ad on tv last night; B@@ts are doing Bio-Oil on offer 3 for 2 at the moment - which will probably be cheapest, unless you've still got some free $$ on plastic. ;)

Clever dog sounds lovely. I am glad she comes when you call her. The only thing that gets the 3 hounds attentions is the shaking of the dog cookie tin! x

Hi custardy! Thanks for popping by! Both RB and I are doing it. I am finding the most difficult part the dorsal raises. Never even knew they existed until now.

My main question is, I like to measure things. So I need to figure out a metric that would be best to chart any results.

Should I measure my bosy? The time it takes me to do the exercises?

    Help!

    TBH,it really doesnt matter
The main points of the reps challenge is to get into the habit of mobility on a daily basis.
The dorsal raises are a weird movement when you 1st start. however give it time and it becomes more natural and you will find you get more movement in the raise and the ability to hold them at the top
If you wish to time yourself thats fine. however you can tweak it to do it more slowly if you wish
for example a push changed to a 10 second push up becomes a different animal.
Far better to concentrate on form than times.

..Then you're half way there! Take the cookie tin out with you when you walk the hounds; when you want one of them to come back to you, make sure you are in hound's sight, squat down [which is "please" in Doggish] shake tin and call "[dog's name] Come Here!" in a tone of voice which expects to be obeyed. Dog will come to you at a gallop. Reward with treat. Repeat, alternating reward with treat, cuddle or toy until hound gets it. ;)

When PC was so ill, awake 22 hours a day but I had no help at home, we taught Clever Dog to come and wake me if I'd dropped off and PC was restless - it took a packet of sausages, that's all. :)

ps. Have added an ETA to my previous post.

pps. How much longer are you going to have to be 'over the pond'? Hope all the meetings are going well. :)

I hope you have a good journey!

ps. Dog training when you're walking more than one dog is easiest if you only let the one who's having the lesson off the lead - which also inclines a half-trained dog to stay with his/her mates so you don't find yourself bellowing at three rumps all heading at speed away from you!

Have a good journey NL. Sorry I havent been around for a while, you know how it is !! .

Just jumping in on the Bio Oil Band Wagon. I use it on my scars and while expensive it last forever, so personally think its one thing worth the spend especially if you makes you feel even a tiny bit better.

Expenses - we do similar to you. We have a great expenses app so everything is entered whilst travelling leaving less to do when we finally make it home. The only difference now is we no longer have credit cards so it all comes straight out of the bank account and we have to sit and twiddle our fingers and thumbs until it finally gets refunded back to us !

Thats it for now, take care of yourself Madam xx
