  • I've also heard very good things about bio oil. Never used it myself but it was suggested to OHs Mam for her scars from bowel cancer surgery and I know one girl who used it for very bad acne scarring.

Thanks RB, most of the time I feel defective. I think this is why I have let myself go.

I am glad we are doing the rep challenge together

Oi!!! You are not defective! If you are, so am I! I am pleasantly eccentric. I am myself, not a clone of anyone else, nor am I a magazine ideal.

Thanks every one for the suggestion of the bio oil. I brought some back with me from America. Doctor's appointments galore this week in preparation for the surgery. Not very MSE as I have to buy 2 train tickets into town.

Had a dinner from stuff on hand. Bad jet lag so not completely "with it" Paid an extra £10 on cc.

Too scared to weigh after America but I am doing my reps the best that I can.

Piq, I have private medical through my company too and it is a tax liability for me as well.

Morning all. My surgery is scheduled for the 13 November and they tell me I will be off on sick leave for at least 2 weeks. Rats!

In other news, I managed to stay the same weight from before my America trip which is a good thing.

Had a long cuddle with canines and that is good for the soul.

In the run up to the surgery I am going to pamper myself with lots of self done manicures and moisturizing etc because you feel so grotty afterwards.

Doing some MSE laundry today with a free sample of laundry soap I got. xx

  • Well done on keeping the weight steady, with all the temptation that a trip on expenses entails and a special meal out!

I love the pampering plan, will be joining you on that one xx.

Nothing wrong with a little pampering.

So I locked myself out today and had to call OH at work to get let back in. Not a happy day around here

Morning. Up and getting ready to go into town for the doctor (one of them) for 11:45. pick up a prescription on the way.

Then rush back home for work, and throw in some laundry.
