Hi LAM thanks for reading. I couldnt be without my dearest hounds as well.

So basically Raliegh NC for the 7 and 8 November and Phoenix for the 2-4 December. Robin you are right it is a bloody nightmare.

I found out/ did something interesting today. Did you know your partner can transfer their no claims bonus to you? Neither did I! well today we wrote the letter and I will be getting an £826 refund! So exciting.

Don't know if I mentioned, my parents were supposed to be coming for christmas but they arent now. I should be sad but I am relieved. Not only will christmas be less stressful now but also signifigantly more MSE!

Also my housekeeper is going away from 3 weeks so will save her wages.

My hot water bottle has been out for a while now, I use it to cosy up to on the sofa whilst watching television. Combined with a throw I can keep the heating off for a while longer.

that combined with moving from the down south power and gas to the up north power and gas saved me £264/year and I had credits in the amount of £570 which is going right to cc!

Did you all know there is a contest in the sunday times to win an ipad every hour? it is a pain to enter, but lots of people from MSE won last year. Here is the link if you want to give it a bash

..With the op beforehand. Good Lord. Am swinging between admiration for you, incredulity that your bosses can even ask that, more admiration because you must be doing such a fantastic job at your, er, job that your bosses think you're indispensable, horror at the cost both financial and ecological of flying to the States for just TWO days each time, with a smidgeon of confusion as to why modern technology cannot be employed (ie. video-link conferences)..

Ain't it just! Would I be correct in thinking your employer is a US-based company?

Xmas should be a time to relax - especially after the weeks you'll have had beforehand - so no need for any guilt at being relieved you won't be on hostess duty over the holiday. ;)

More money-saving; great. Looks like you, OH and Hounds will have a wonderfully intimate break - which is indeed something to look forward to! :D

Take a round of applause for thinking of warmer sheets and hot-water bottles to cut back on heating costs.

..I was woken this morning by my CH firing up - got up to see what I'd set it at last night [in the dark; twiddle knob] and was a bit shocked to see 5'C.. It's getting chilly out here in the sticks! :o

Thanks for the heads-up - need one of these to communicate with MIL from the cottage as "Face-Talk" [is that what it's called?] and Skype don't seem to be compatible - unfortunately the site seems to be down; shame!
