PC reckoned it'll take stocks another five years to become 'useful' again. He flogged his when the country was teetering on the brink of recession; paid off the mortgage with the proceeds - a brilliant piece of forward thinking - which is making my life a lot easier than it might have been right now.

RB I have painted them a dove grey. SOunds gross but I feel it is quite fetching!

The day I decide to sell the stock lost $1 USD per share. I have put a sell on it at the price it was Friday so it will sell when it bounces.

Hoping you get your bounce soon. I used to be an avid watcher of the stock market, and a dabbler, but it got too hair raising for me.

so in other news this week. I had an interview yesterday for a new job in my company. I have progressed to the next round of interviews. It will mean mostly EU travel with only the occassional travel to America.

Speaking of America, I am off on a work trip from this Sunday for 8 days. I was hoping this would be my last major trip before Christmas but I think I will have one more in November. Hopefully I can nail the next set of interviews and the point will be moot (or as Ms Malaprop says "mute")

Good idea regarding the stock. Another yes vote here. Sadly, I'm thinking my one Disney Pixar share that I bought for the pretty certificate isn't going to help my situation

Congrats on the interview success and yay to less distance travelling. Although I love leisure travel, I don't imagine constant trans-Atlantic trips for work would be much fun.

Hi GB! The other benefit of the (possible) new job is that the working hours are 830-530 or 600, not the 2pm to 10 I am working now which will me an actual LIFE! x

Off to a hospital appointment and ultrasound. Will walk part and train part to get all my 10k steps in!
