    Thanks Fortune.

So I know this sounds unbelievable but I just went out to my car and someone has hit the back bumper and scratched and dented the back driver wheel well. I am just defeated!

No??!! You are parking it on the side of the road, aren't you? Not the middle?

Seriously, can you park it off road somewhere? hire a garage space locally, perhaps?

I wish, all there is available around here is permit parking on the street. I need to not be precious and just get on with it

  • Yay for the review (and for you accidentally getting to read it!) but boo to the nasty car bumping people.

When I picked up my car from new, I took it to work the next morning and parked it in the basement car park. With support pillars every 10 feet in every direction, I scraped the wheel arch against a pillar and left a massive welt in the finish. It has so many scratches now that I just know we'll have to replace panels if we ever decide to sell it (thankfully, a smart car, so plastic panels that don't rust, and relatively easily changeable). I'm fairly relaxed about driving in there now, but only because I know I can't make it any worse!

Oh... and I've just spent two hours checking out all your pin boards! :D Total time suck but we have VERY similar tastes :)

Yey to the review and so glad someone else seems to think you are as marvellously fantastic as we all know you are.

Boo, bad karma to the car bumping people. However, you are not parking it in a stupid place and are insuring it for money, so why exactly aren't you claiming for the damage?

Granny great question. Because I had a company car for ages I was kicking off this policy with 0 no claims bonus. I was scared to claim in case I could never get insurance again

NL what a total nightmare for you. I dont blame you for not having claimed, but surely you cant keep on paying out . I always worry that my premium will go sky high if I claim.

Am I right in thinking with Pinterest you cant put your own pictures up , they have to be pictures that you have found online that you put on your pinboard ? Do you make Pinboards of things that interest you, like a holiday destination for example ? I think we have had this conversation before. I cant get my head around what its really all about . The girls have been after it for ages, but it would be yet another distraction for them I think, but maybe it would be a welcome distraction for me ! :D
