Hello MSE Friends..
I have come back with the good weather for you all and a cold and jet lag for myself.
We spent £350 between us on holiday. Not great but not a complete disaster.
Returned home to a washing machine that isn't working, so £140 to have that repaired tomorrow and all the dirty laundry from holiday all piled up ready to be washed.
Additionally my cleaner dropped a bottle of something on my laptop and my letter "L" key cap has broken off, so will need to go into the office to have it fixed at some point this week.
Just trying to reduce all the work emails I have come back to and get rid of this cold.
I have a interview for a new role in my company today at 13:00. The job isn't exciting, but it would be M-F 830-17:30 instead of the swing shift I have been on for the last 3 years. I think this would be good for me. Hopefully it will go well.
Lots of raspberries and greenbeans in the garden and beetroot too. Must think of lots of bean recipies.

Hi NewLeaf,
I haven't had a chance to read right through your diary, but I will, i'm looking forward to it.
Well done for having the ability to earn such a fabulous salary. I think you are very wise having some domestic support, that's a balanced approach.
It is very difficult in a busy, challenging job to keep tight control of the finances, so you are doing fantastically well, and only £350.00 spent on holiday!!!!! I have to confess we spent more than that camping, but then I am just a new convert to MSE ways and have a lot to learn......
Those new hours sound very enticing, I hope it works out for you.
