I don't know.
It's been £15 pm since July 2011 (prior to that it'd been £30 - so got a nice £250 refund  ), and the account has never been in debit.
Just received the Oct to Jan bill, and I'm still over £60 in credit.
BTW. Just to rub it in, all cooking is electric.
The only gas appliances I have, is a gas fire and a Combi Boiler.
Even the gas is only £324 pa, and £18-odd in credit.0 -
Hi NL
Good to see you're doing so well on those overpayments but:mad::mad::mad: to THEM...can see why you are selling anything that is not nailed down though..like jewellery. Am sure it's all the for the best.
We pay £38 for electricity and £63 for gas each month. The income from the panels is separate and fluctuates ( obviously! :rotfl: am hardly expecting a huge influx this quarter). Our fuel is all from renewables so a premium but even so if you are in all day your bill seems pretty average...sorry cant think of a silver bullet to saving loads of money on that one

Last year I sold some jewellery from family heirlooms. I kept one of my grans rings and one of my aunts. The granny one I will never wear but I know she loved it and my aunts ring i do wear from time to time. The rest I would never have worn and the price I got for it took a good chunk out of my debt which I know they would have wanted.
I have good riding equipment that I am hanging on to now - I know it would sell well but I would never replace it at the price I will get for it and once I am back on my feet financially I am hoping to compete again and will need it then.

Sorry your mom freaked but as you say its yours to do with as you want and the level of stress you are under at the moment should not be taken lightly. You are keeping one piece and I'm sure will think of your Granny when you take the necessary steps to sell the jewellery. As I said before, I'm fairly certain she would approve, after all what good is stuff if not to make us happier.
Good luck with your fleabaying, I've still to take that leap.

Very hard decision to sell the jewellery but I'm sure Granny would have bought you peace of mind and a good night's sleep instead if that was possible.

I also sold a kate spade purse for £17 and a phase eight dress for £13. Not a huge amount but have loads more to list. I am wondering if you can do all the picture taking and listing write ups and save without posting until a free weekend comes up and then you can just list them all at once.
OH is furiously working away on her computer trying to get caught up for the week.
It's freezing so after the beasts get walked I plan to walk on the spot in the house to build up my steps.
Last weeks weight loss didn't happen because last night I fell into a packet of biscuits and a hot cocoa.
Here is another of my shameful character defects for you all to examine.
My friend is a lovely gal who is a teacher. Her husband also a lovely person is an important type in advertising of some kind (details are fuzzy) anyway, they live below their means in a huge flat within walking distance to me, but let out 2 of the 4 bedrooms to lodgers and have done since I have known them. (Told you they are clever) anyway my friend has been very upset about her job for various reasons at her private school (fee paying) a job that she loved for years. Anyway because he husband is loving, and they aren't financial div's like OH and I, her husband told her to resign giving proper notice of course because she is so stressed.
My character flaw in me: through every fault of our own both of us have to keep working like maniacs and it makes me jealous that other people can just resign when the feel stress, and not have to worry about keeping a roof over their heads or anything. I will be happy for my friend not to be under duress but it makes me so mad at myself that I didn't have LBM sooner xMortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84
