I should also add that Miss Malaprop is

    1. from California
    2. is a member of a Recovery group ( so she often spouts things like "One day at a time, etc"
    3. Eats candy all day
    4. is a chain smoker
    5. takes an hour to put on her make up. I kid you not.

so it isnt even like I can lull myself to sleep with a bottle of wine in her presence!

I tried but as the hotel is sold out, no other option.

Is this hotel in the middle of no-where? Surely there is some other accommodation available within reach of a taxi-ride?

If not, the ordeal must be worth at least a bottle a night (and possibly a pair of ear-plugs!). :o

So.. THEY have sent us to collections. Dire

Huge bummer. :( ((Hugs)) and sympathy.

    1. They have the amount wrong, and 2. we are paying back a weekly rate. WTHeck

How are you paying? (Did you cancel the DD?). Their mistake could be useful in discussions/negotiations.

    Good luck!

now paying via standing order. The hotel is in the middle of Times Square in NYC. Yes there are other hotels around by my whole team is staying at the same hotel and that is where the meetings are. It would be an insult to my boss if I decamped from his master meeting.

I agree with Robin, surely you can stay in another hotel? After all the surgery you've had recently they have a cheek making you travel. I think you should insist on having your own room even if it's a taxi ride away. Tell them it's too traumatic to share after everything you've been through. Can you speak to someone in HR?

Aha. Bet that's why you've been referred.. :(

THEY do like to see "DD" ticked as method of payment.

Wow Times Square! <very impressed> However, if there wasn't room at the hotel Boss selected, he's rather insulting you by expecting you/his employees to share rooms like school-kids at a youth hostel!
    ..Who's he sharing with?
