I am feeling rather ashamed of myself went out for lunch with work to an all you can eat buffet (Chinese) Unfortunately I was rather in the mood for Chinese and managed to break all records and quite surprised myself by eating five platefuls... and then got up for ice cream with a sprinkling of nuts on them.... God knows how much I have gone over on my calories today... I gave up counting...:o I keep telling myself I only ate protein no rice, noodles... but I was a real pig and have felt rather stuffed all day...:D

Oh bast that did make me laugh! I need to get a handle on my weight, this nonsense has just gone on far too long.

In other news I have just been informed last night by boss that at this meeting in New York since it will be over 100 people we have to room share. Guess who requested me? Miss Malaprops. I have offered to pay for my own room to be alone but the hotel is sold out.

I may never return. She can talk the hind legs off a donkey, and only sleeps 4 hours a night. Help

Oh no, we will miss you if you never return !!

Is there not a hotel nearby you would be allowed to escape to, or do you all need to be staying in the same hotel ?

I hate having to share a room with people, I am far to unsociable for that :D When are you off NL ?

Oh and Bast that Chinese sounds lovely, dont feel guilty !

    Hi NewLeaf, :hello:

Another vote for booking into a nearby hotel to get a single room - could that $$ card be used towards payment?

Must say I think it's a bit shabby of such a big international company to expect employees to share rooms.

How long have you got, to sort out a better option?
  • Lam's idea to insist on a single room for medical reasons sounds a good idea NL x
