The next post will probably be from someone who got arrested in Tesco "But at least I got my picture taken with Vicky Pollard":rotfl:

I half wish they would ban me to be honest. I quite fancy having my 15 mins of fame. Wonder if I would ever get asked for an autograph?

Anyway, its cheper at ASDA :P

'Mr xxxx says he now does all his day to day shopping at ASDA, "They've done me a favour really, its a lot cheaper at ASDA" he laughs".'

jeez, when you think it through, they might be able to ban someone but it could be a right PR disaster! Not to mention expensive with all the trading standards visits. Im gonna sell my shares wednesday after the good shares prices come out. So please don't go rushing off to the newspapers this week :D:D:D

If you don't fancy getting your norks out, maybe you could just get your steaks out instead? Is that an appropriate diet for a baby of a serial R&Rer ?

I have got a freezer full of meat and stuff and over the last few days I've been so tempted to feed the dog with a joint of finest beef or something, just so I can get a photo to send up to Kevin if/when I get my ban.
Don't mean to smug or ungrateful but it would so help me to vent my anger!
It's a funny thing about Tesco finest fillet steak you know, one of my cats just loves it raw but the other will only eat it well done!

I might as well pop this out while it is quiet. Can you believe I actually got a CS manager who I actually know the other day say to me "My son is after an xbox360 for xmas where do you reckon the cheapest place is". The only thing this person knows about me and R&R is the fact I once tried to do one in his store when he was off. But I know he must have heard about it. I replied "Don't you sell em in Tesco?" he replied "I don't know".

I mean, something is wrong isn't it. Either they were trying to get me to get them an xbox360 which I wouldn't do, or they were trying to get me to open up. I have no idea.

I agree with most all of your postings, very helpful to all. If anyone has been banned, no one should go to Newspapers, at least not until after any court case victory and an apology to all R&Rers.
  • try the medium size stores for Consoles. The small stores only have a poster with 3 charts in one (ie xbox, pc and ps2 charts on one poster) with no mention of the £20 or £10 offer of week. The huge stores dont have ant posters, just blank boards.

I also recommend you dont bother with C/S to get your refund ( assuming you can afford to wait several weeks for a refund from H/O). My individual decision not to challenge C/S is that I dont need to be embarrassed, harrassed, accused, lied to or made to feel like a bad person by C/Service Staff, let alone another ban !

I choose to write to H/O suggesting my County Court Claim will be £xxx amount plus costs and publicity, and T/Standards to receive copy of court order for them to investigate/fine tesco.

I am confident they will honour my R&R out of court and provide an apology. If not, then I am experienced enough to issue a summons in the Court.

Maybe everyone should do it that way. No reason to allowr C/S staff to shut us all up or frighten us to ASDA or Morrissons. And of course the sel will remain in place for MANY more of us to bring Court Cases. No harm in notifying T/S to go and check for themselves the next day if you prefer to report it to someone. Dont forget your camaraphone for the SEL, and a days newspaper in the picture is useful amunition too ! and yes you can take pictures.......no judge will disallow them as genuine evidence, besides Tesco wont want to defend a case and pay out at least £500 to a lawyer each time !!! And dont worry, if you lose you dont pay there legal costs.....not unless you bought something for over £5000 ( £5k) !!!

Love this bit. I assume xxx is the price of the R&R?
