I got the 2 annuals today (Angelina Ballerina and Dora - 2 that I want for my daughter for Xmas anyway) and the discount came off. No R&R for me. :rolleyes:

I got Noddy and princess annuals today. No discount so R & R. At another tesco got 2 ps2 Narnia games (only 2 with 2 for £25 on) SA was so nice. Gave refund with a smile and an apology. Best bit she didn't mark the receipt, hurrah!!

Had the same thing. I don't understand why the DS Lite is considered a different consule as it uses DS games not DS Lite games so in my mind it is a Nintendo DS as when I go into a shop I have to buy DS games for it to work and there are no such things as DS Lite games. Maybe I'm wrong.

Anyone any ideas?

Also anyone who bought a DS (not lite) and has their receipt handy could you tell me what the item description was on the receipt for the consule. The DS Lite on my receipt came up as DS Hardware which seems to be not differentiating that the Lite is a different consule to the non-Lite

FWIW, the store I was in had already, so I overheard, done a full R&R on a Lite and game that morning but refused mine. think it was an oops that poster shouldn't have gone up maybe they'll go away if we stand our ground moment.

They also tried putting through a non-Lite consule and game and the discount wasn't triggered on that package either.

My GF had the same happen to her today with a white DS and GOTW she got no joy from the CS desk and ended up getting a full refund and handing the DS & game back.

Shes still got the receipt though, is it worth following this up with HO tomorrow?

If I had overheard that, I wouldnt have left the shop til I got my R&R!

Went in my local Tescos today to buy some nice things for tea, there was quite a comotion going on near the customer services desk. Security had a man pinned to the ground who was showuting and swearing. the police then arived and took him into custady.

I could not ressist asking what had happened, the Tesco staff would not say anything. A lady who had been in the customer service cue said the man had tried to claim an R&R for a stereo, the staff had been suspicus so they had called a manager, after about 20 minutes the lady said that the man who was arrested had been seen (on a video tape ?) putting an out of date label on the shelf edge, he had then tried to use this price label to claim he had been ovvercharged and calaim an R&R !

If this is the sort of thing you R&Rers get upto, no wonder Tesco are getting shi@@y with ordinery customers just trying to get a refund of the diferrence when they have been overcharged.
