I must admit I never used to check my bill or took much notice of the sel. It is all down to the people on here that i now check & find the errors (far too many of them).
And i think tesco knew this when they started doing the R&R and thats the only reason they keep doing it.You don't see any of these shirty managers or CS staff being like that to whom ever is responsible for correcting a misprice once they been made aware of it.......©..®..(TM) NothingVentured.

Just because you don't see it does not mean it does not happen.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

I expect the average joe public dont check their receipt or just throw it away in the bin on the way out. Its the ones that dont have the money to spare that dont/cant check their receipt. I saw an elderly lady asking the checkout girl to take what she needed the other day as she couldnt see very well - so she wouldnt of checked her receipt:(

Thats what I find scary too, when it happens on popular items like mince etc. may only be 10p but think how many thousands of packs of mince they will sell making that extra 10p a pack on!
Makes me sick! (the overcharging not the mince)
Since first hearing about the R&R thing I have been shocked at the constant overpricing that occurs on a lot of everyday stuff at Tescos, I never used to check my receipts or compare SEL to pack prices, I'm damn sure I do now though!
I hate to think how much money I and everyone I know have lost to Tescos on overpriced goods hence not feeling the slightest bit guilty that I've been sitting here all day playing on my Xbox (Dead rising is the game to get BTW)
Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
I have been reading the Tesco threads for a while, so while I was in my local tesco today I thought I would try my 1st R&R....
I checked the yellow SEL on DVD's and CD's & there were some that were out of date...so I thought I would give it a go . One DVD was labeled as £12.97 & the CD was £6.97. When these items went through with my other shopping I knew something did not add up....so when I checked the receipt I had been charged £7.97 for the DVD & £4.96 for the CD....!!!! what happened ????:o any advice would be helpful...thanks0 -

Prices have obviously dropped, or a different offer is now in place. If you really don't want them, take them back for a full refund. However, it is good to see Tesco not overcharging you. It would be nice to see Tesco putting the correct price on the shelves, though. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

I couldn't see any new offer's & both items have only been released over the last 2 weeks. There were so many out of date SEL stickers, I didn't know where to start...both items I did want, so I might as well keep them. However, I will be returning to the store...now I have found the courage !0
