  • P.S. Sorry if my last post is "off thread"?

I am newbie (not an excuse).

    Should I have p.m.' puddings?

Keep this as what mispriced goods are out there?

I am on to a possible today if local store aren't on their toes, will keep you all posted.

Your post was entirely relevant. It's information that we all need to be aware of and can possibly help you with. We don't have a problem with newbies...anyone is welcome to post here - even Tesco employees! (Nod to Constantine, Spa2k and others... ;) )

What the hell is "Noe"? :p

    *passes rdwarr a Noddy annual.
It's the word "Note" with the "t" missed out. Apologies for the typing error in what was supposed to be a genuinely helpful post. The fact that you got five "Thanks" for your post speaks volumes about the real interests of recent contributors here.
Reading through the thread since then it's clear that it's now become a haven for personal attacks, not just from you but a number of other users who claim to be "regulars" here. Names beginning with "I" spring to mind.
As such I feel it has now run its course and will not be sorry when the inevitable happens. To those of you like Ben and Phil, I hope you find somewhere to continue your welcome and informative contributions.
    Can I help?

Actually, that was a joke in reply to your comment on my spelling of "Das Capital" ("Das Kapital"). You originally told me to buy the Noddy annual, remember? Don't take it so personally, rdwarr. I think people thanked me because they saw your earlier post and got the joke.

A quick question to those who have had luck getting r&r on the above.

I noticed a store with a white Nintendo DS Lite & GOTW (fifa 07), posters were up also. Would this trigger the discount? Is their a specific DS to buy with the game (black, white, lite, original)?

    Cheers folks.

fill yer boots and yer freezers. (freezes ok)

Just came across this on the misprice thread. I bought this yesterday but was so busy looking at my receipt to check whether other offers had gone through, that I completely missed this!

It wasn't a local store so it's probably not worth the petrol to go back for r&r. Lesson learnt to check everything in future! :D

I think any reasonable person reading your statements will deduce from your rudeness that you lost the argument.

LOL how this so reminds me of watching saddam in court in iraq :wall: :wall: :wall:

OH bought black DS Lite with GOTW Fifa and no discount came off. Store refused R&R so waiting to call CS first thing tomorrow. The poster didn't specify which DS just said Nintendo DS Console

Yesterday, while looking for R&R I purchased 2 x Tolberones with an out of date yellow SEL and guess what the discount did come off.

Sometimes Tescos do well out of us bargain hunters, buying things that we shouldnt.

Good morning, finally got through to the end of the thread.
My some of you like to wind people up and some of you take the bullet so easily. To answer a couple of the comments made if I may.
'the thread is boring' - then don't read on. No one is saying you have to join in.
'don't keep repeating yourself' - If you have asked a question and no one is answering it's because either they/we don't know the answer or you are repeating a question that has already been answered,.It can be found on the thread you just have to do some homework.
'I'm entitle to my opinion' - yes you are. everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But, this thread, I believe is for the people who have been overcharged and want to find out what to do about it or who actively seek out R&R's, either the odd one while doing the weekly shop or those who search out misprices for profit. I'm sure each of us has an opinion on when/why/how often, but we do want an R&R when we find a mis price.
If you don't fall into either category then may I suggest this thread isn't for you?
Maybe the Vent board would be a better alternative where you could voice your opinions and enter into a decent debate?
