Policy is to not feed the troll ( as in send to Coventry, Daventry or anwhere else but here) so just ignore and don't bite.
I heard Coventry is good for R&Ring, dont send the troll there!
:rotfl:Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Personally have been threatned by one said troll, with a knuckle sarnie, charmed i'm sure..have to say it was in response to me saying "shut up".
Moderators(mods) have locked this thread b4 and we regs dont want that to happen, hence the troll problem.
thanks frequent,
i was wondering what it meant at well'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

To Tescos sadly, lol.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -

DONT FEEL THE TROLL
No...you might get arrested for that!!...................lolCouponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

It was Hey Dude - here's the post:Hey_Dude wrote:
"Which Mis-price?"
#1 - The Gotcha - This is the least contentious mis-price - you have the Bay City Rollers Greatest Hits with a £1.98 sticker on and you are charged £19.99 - easy pickings - even the nastiest Customer Service staff will find it difficult to argue against this one – although your taste in music is $^*&”)$*.
#2 - Quality Meat - This covers mis-priced per kg SELs - usually meat - often cheeses and so on - your kangaroo joint has a SEL of £9 a kg - on the pack it is £10 a kg - you may have to give the CS staff a lesson in mental arithmetic dyslexia - and point to "the shelf" bit in the Price Promise - but you will get some joy.
#3 - The Time Traveller - Out-of-date crispy duck is no good for you - but out-of-date SELs are always handy - look for goods with a yellow SEL - check the expiry date - if it was last night/week/year then you could be in - check the price and you may be in - some caution - sometimes goods have not changed in price – but particularly good spots for mobiles & cameras.
#4 - The Special Offer - this covers extra advertising away from any stickers or SELs - "all XBOX games under £30" and the like - if you find one for £30.99 you have a mis-price - also check the repeating TV adverts in Extra stores - you may see Tomb Raider 7 - Laura's Melons at a lesser price – but you do have a mis-price - but you will undoubtedly face an uphill struggle with CS as you argue your case - worth a punt!
#5 - We Don't Go Outside - when Tesco run big promotions - '50 cans of Carlsberg for £10 and your sister traded in' - they will sometimes put up big signs outside - pay attention - outside the store. Check these out the day after said promotion finishes - sometimes the outside signs are still in place - grab yourself a pallet of beer, argue with CS and check into AA in a couple of day’s time………..
Have fun Dudes - and remember to report your findings on the mis-price thread!

Just take it up with HO today, the sign should be ambiguous and should state which ones are in the offer - your not to know if they are or not.
At least you kept your goods and can always return them to another store if you want a refund in the end
Good Luck
Folllowed the advice given and phoned up customer services, who were about as much help as the store themselves.
The gentleman there said that 'It was a human error and as such effectively tough.'
Not being happy with this he gave the postal address to write in and complaint. I asked for the head of customer services and all he would give was the email address given on page 1 of the thread so I have emailed them attaching the copy of the SEL the store gave. He did say they were inundated with emails so it may take time for a response.
Anyone got any ideas.
As far as I am concerned they have admitted they were on the shelf which had a label showing a price, but they claim they were put out in error as the item was not reduced even though there was no other place for them in the main toys section.
Surely this would be interpreted as misleading consumers, regardless of whether it was human error or on purpose and as R&R should apply?0 -

I do not know where you stand but -
I had a problem but I avoided customer services and wrote directly to Mr Leahy. I received a letter of apology and a £15 money card for the way I had been treated. It took about a month for his reply but I did get a reply in the meantime from CS telling me that he would be writing in due course.
