Sorry, but here's a few more questions for the seasoned R&Rers. Both relate to yellow SELs and I apologise if they've already been answered but the thread is sooooo long.
1. I presume that the offer expires at midnight on the date stated? If so when do the tills get changed. Is it automatically done at midnight? Is it automatic but at a random time? Or do individual stores do it themselves?
2. Yellow SELs say Offer expires on XXX, and show the offer price and the normal price crossed out. Do you ever get staff defending out of date SELs by saying that as the expiry date is shown customers should know that the crossed out figure now applies? If so what's the come back?
Just wanting to get a few facts right before I start shopping;)0 -
If it's any help I bought the offers that should start today (well a couple of them) yesterday in Southampton at 7pm and they went through the tills with no problems.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

When you say no problems, would that be to you or Tesco?
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
Are there ever any R&R situations for online shopping with Tesco??0

Hi, I have spent a while looking at this thread and wondered if there could be a Q&A at the top of the thread that would put all the useful info about how to R&R in one place.
I have a specific question that I have not found an answer to : I searchged in my local Tesco (Pitsea) and could not find any sign anywhere mentioning R&R. I looked at the (new) customer services section and could find nothing either. I also looked on the Tesco website and could find nothing either. Is the policy applicable to all stores ?
Cheers
