This IS the discussion thread.
Don't post if you don't want discussion.
C'est tout.
Is it a discussion thread or not ? that is the question.
Each time a discussion starts, somebody suggests it should be conducted on the ethics thread ! a mite confusing.
The Tesco's misprice discussion thread appears to be not for most discussions0 -
Is it strange that the store scanner "Price Checker" in most stores are broken or removed, so you cant really find think until you are at the tills, then you may not get a R&R item.
At less we have these forums to get the information from. And it is fun to go around the store trying to find great deals and hopfully get some R&R items. :j0 -
everythingblogcast wrote:At less when you are going to spam a company tell people via PM and not allowing member "TescoEmployee" to see them, so he cant (call Tecso Head Office and say stop that, that price is wrong) lol
You lot go and get some free stuff off Tesco.[/QUOTE]
But the point of the misprice thread(and there I go, starting a sentence with a preposition, for shame!)is to alert people against being OVERCHARGED.
Either we want to be charged correctly, or we are complicit in known overcharging;the case can be made.
My shopping never consists of electrical/computer/'phone thingies anyway.
Pastures revisited - false economy kingsize or multi-purchases:
Own brand toilet paper - 12 rolls NOT cheaper than 3x4.
200 gm coffee NOT cheaper than 2x100gm(café noir, I think)CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Its not strange. Its for one of two reasons
1. Its a global conspiracy. There are gangs of managers who spend their days off traveling the country, riping the wires out the back.
or
2. They are a temperamental piece of kit that get abused daily by every kid that can reach them. As they are not essential to the operation of the store, they are low down the list of priorities to get fixed.
Your level of paranoia will dictate which option you believe
Personally, I have managed to get one repaired before (after a lot of hassle trying to find out who was responsible), only for it to die again less than a week later.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Can you imagine the damage to the community if all the regulars on this thread did not spend six hours a day trawling multiple branches of Tesco?
Where would they go what with all the libraries closing?
Forecourt profits would tumble, too.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Constantine, he/she of good nature, will not, I trust, object to the selective edit.
Have you now ticked them all off in your I-Spy storefinder book?

Proactive about being reactive. Proreactive. Heh...a new Tesco word
Or maybe they're just being a little bit procreative - and that's impossible, according to Monster Deals.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
