Tesco misprice discussion area part 11

  • I picked up three books yesterday which I thought 'may have been mispriced' at £3.97. Lo and behold the checkout lady put them through as 3x £3.97 and just scaned the first book. Felt like asking her to void and put them through again since I knew at least two were wrong but didn't like to ask:mad:

Next time, spread them out, mixed up with the rest of your shop ie one book, followed by one bag of peanuts, then one joint of beef, loaf of bread, another book, another joint of beef, willow farm chicken legs, batteries, more peanuts, another joint of beef (perhaps sirloin this time?), yet another book.

    Get the idea?

Exactly what i was thinking..ive had a letter of appology and stating they owe me ex amount two weeks ago regarding the over price. but its been ages now and i need to get the £££. just annoyed i got to go back in there and heard people had good will gestures.

You could take it back for a refund at a different store.

I think I am getting immune or possibly de-sensitized to this whole R + R thing. I dont get the thrill of nailing Tesco anymore, and I`m really sick of the sight of their stores. (And the stores with Krusty Kream (sic) shops really STINK dont they ?)

I really need some high price / risky R + Rs again as this Peanuts and DS games thing is just not enough for me now.

How did you experienced R + Rers get through this period of dissilusionment ? Is this the proverbial "wall" that I need to break through a la marathon runners ?

More importantly, can I expect a bonanza of c**k ups before Chrimbo to get me interested again ?

Hi badgers, no what u mean, went Sunday for a few games, and today didn't find a thing ( i see the games, (cleared by mse'rs) and dvd sections (cleared by staff)...and one hefty SEL staff walking up and down scanning the sels..and replacing loads of them with new ones..funny how she always comes out when I get near the meat ailse, must be my aftershave :rotfl:

Should be more stuff soon enough, is a bit demoralising having to pay for shopping.

How about a free mini whisky to sooth ?

So my questions are, what should my course of action be and what is the stores likely to be?

Spend hours in their :D I would.
  • Hi everyone. I bought a nintendo ds lite with the GOTW and was overcharged! I emailed tescos with a copy of my receipt and they're saying go to the store and they will give you an R&R, but only on the game. How will I get out of this?

Stink! Stink! You should've been in the Peterborough Extra a couple of weeks ago. The entire shop stunk of sewage - from the entrance to the Deli counter, in the clothes section through to the checkouts. It was vile.
The local Evening Paper even picked up on it and did a report on it, saying they had drain trouble.
I wrote to their Head Office to complain and received a letter back, saying I'd hear from the Store Manager,as my complaint had been passed to him.
Guess what? He didn't even send me so much as a peg just in case the stink was still in-store next time I shopped there.
    Disgusting!
