Thank you so much for publishing pictures - You are going the right way about getting this forum closed down without me even having to do anything  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

After posting this...there were around 7 or so replies/comments......In future when a troll posts, why dont we get together to agree a simple procedure.

The first one to notice a troll post simply replies immediately, with something akin to

    Please don't feed the troll.

That way, it is seen immediately and there should be no need for further discussion, joking, commenting, and then no more of the reprimanding for the discussion, joking, and commenting......and so on.

    You know it makes sense.

Edit......No comment on this either please....or we are just getting as bad as those we wish to calm.

  • So if youve got a big shop to do get down there today.

My advice would be "if you've got a big shop to do, go somewhere else than Tesco!".

This week, my shopping bill is £110 spent NOT at Tesco, £39 spent at Tesco, £35 R&R'd at Tesco. So the tally so far is Others £110, Tesco £4. I actually find Tesco poor value on both price and quality. It's only the R&R that makes it worthwhile!

Help me fellow MSEers - you are my only hope.

I think I am getting immune or possibly de-sensitized to this whole R + R thing. I dont get the thrill of nailing Tesco anymore, and I`m really sick of the sight of their stores. (And the stores with Krusty Kream (sic) shops really STINK dont they ?)

I really need some high price / risky R + Rs again as this Peanuts and DS games thing is just not enough for me now.

How did you experienced R + Rers get through this period of dissilusionment ? Is this the proverbial "wall" that I need to break through a la marathon runners ?

More importantly, can I expect a bonanza of c**k ups before Chrimbo to get me interested again ?

  • Question.
I was due a chq 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't turned up.spoke to Ho and they said another one has been issued i can take up to 14 working days AGAIN. He said i can go back to the store if i want to for the refund of £300.do you think i should ask for a good will gesture or not? havent stepped in the store since as they treated my like a criminal. whats your thoughts??
  • Yes they can ammend the transaction at the till. It is usually a good idea to get someone that looks like a work experience youngster to serve you, they are less observant. :o

I picked up three books yesterday which I thought 'may have been mispriced' at £3.97. Lo and behold the checkout lady put them through as 3x £3.97 and just scaned the first book. Felt like asking her to void and put them through again since I knew at least two were wrong but didn't like to ask:mad:

Surely Tesco policy should be to scan every item!

I'd concentrate on getting your refund rather than making yourself a bigger target by asking for more to be honest.
  • Exactly what i was thinking..ive had a letter of appology and stating they owe me ex amount two weeks ago regarding the over price. but its been ages now and i need to get the £££. just annoyed i got to go back in there and heard people had good will gestures.
