I emailed Terry Leahy and Customer services last night, I have had the automated response last night from customer services and another response today from Terry Leahy's email addy to say that it is being looked into.
Has anyone else dealt with Terry Leahy's office, if so how did it go?0 -

'Looks like the Virgin Motorola L6 discount is now coming off correctly this morning. There is now a yellow ticket giving the discount off and its scans correctly at about £53 (much more than 10%), the same as the vodaphone one. Not sure it the others have been fixed as this was a small store.'
Has anyone else seen this reduced in their store today its the Virgin Motorola L6, was £69.99 yesterday with no discount coming off.0 -

However, I would still do it...
I've read it and I'll definitely email them as the manager knowingly lied to me (about it being too much money for r&r).FloFlo wrote:No the poster clearly says All payg mobile phones no mention of the Tesco network, SA agreed this once we were in front of the poster and then changed her excuse.
They tried to use this excuse with me as well. If they try to aruge that the full price you've been charged is a discounted price already (even though it might have a white sticker on) show them their phone brochure (which should be next to the phones; it's A4 size and has something green on the front, I can't remember exactly). This brochure shows all the phones with their prices BEFORE the 10% off on all phones. It's best to regret things you have done rather than those you have not...0 -

Part of their reasoning to me on the phone this morning about the L6 not being included, was that Virgins prices didn't permit them to sell it at any less than £69.99!0 -
Do I have more of a case to get my refund since they have obviously reduced this phone today to get out of R&Ring on it.
Should I wait for head office to contact me again or phone them back and tell them I know the phone has been reduced now so I should have had discount yesterday. Also if I want my refund direct from HO can they put it back on my card. Thanks.0 -

I was told by a manager from the one branch today that they should have been coming off yesterday but there was a glitch i nthe system.. so i can go in today and get a full refund.
You shouldnt have a problem.
Believe HO cleared th glitch this morning so they are scanning correctly now!0 -
Whats everyones thoughts on taking things back when the reciept hasn't been marked with "Overcharged!" Obviously going to another store.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as they don't know you for R&Ring, not that Iwould ever do this or suggest it.
