I thought I had, but hey hoDid you read ALL my post? As regards the B&Q case, not been able to find anything online about the court case yet, but believe me (you won't, of course!) , it happened. But by all means come back to me and ask me to answer your unambiguous questions again, as I have nothing better to do tonight.
If I've done nothing else today, at least I've spurred you into action on the posting front. No post since March 2005 and suddenly turn up today in this discussion with your 'umnambiguous questions'? What gives and what store do you work for?I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -

Few options
1. Enjoy your Xbox
2. Take it back for a refund (unopened)
3. Complain to the store
4. Complain to headoffice/customer services
5. Complain to Trading Standards
I suspect option 1 or 2 are going to be your best bet, but go for your life if you want too.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
Personally, I'd go for Options 4 and 5. You will probably get banned but they will probably un-ban you shortly afterwards. :rolleyes:I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

p.s. dont they look at you funny when you take back multiple items in once purchase?
p.p.s. do you look at your reciept then wander to CS looking confused or do you walk out of the store 1st?
Didnt get that all in one store, although did get the cakes and Printer together (and thats all I got so I got the whole lot refunded in that shop) didnt get looked at funny either!

You have 28 days to return the item, unopened.
Call first if you want, but wait until tomorrow. Would suggest you want to speak to the electrical or non-food manager initially if you plan to persue the removal of the poster.
Can I just point out that guns don't kill people, rappers do? Thank you very muchWho or what was I before you came in to my life

I've just been grossly overcharged £20 on an xbox premium & GOTW, however the store manager offered me a refund of £20 and told me if I wanted a full R&R I'd have to get in touch with HO tomorrow. I think I might take him up on that.0

Hi people,
DESPERATELY NEED SOME HELP AND ADVICE ON THIS ONE PLEASE!!!!
Just got around to getting in touch with customer services about the £20 off Virgin/Vodafone handsets (over £50 value) when bought with £20 airtime - poster up in store, allegedly should have been taken down on 17th september, i bought a week after that date - (after two weeks out of pocket!).
Spoke to two unhelpful gentlemen at head office. First guy told me it was definately not an "overcharge" and I wouldn't be ENTITLED to anything. I asked to speak to his supervisor. Who also was entirely unmovable. He offered to speak to the store, but I reminded him it was a big store and probably over 2 weeks ago now, so they wouldn't necessarily remember the details.
I suggested to him that I would send him a fax of the poster (for those who don't know the one I mean, for his own inspection. (re: date of expiry on the second offer only). After he let me go through the rigmerole of sending the fax, he informed me that he wouldn't be able to pick it up until tomorrow probably as it is in the print room .... I told him it was incredible that a customer service manager SUPERVISOR at a £2 billion per annum company couldn't access a fax machine during office hours !! He said he would attempt to retrieve the fax and then call me back tomorrow after consultation with some colleagues.
I do not feel confident at all that he will come back with a postive answer .... he wouldn't accept that the Poster was entirely unclear and the t&cs could be thought to apply only to the bottom of the two offers on the poster, despite me describing it accurately for him, and giving him my word on that.
He argued that the t&cs were at the bottom of the page so should be ASSUMED to be in relation to ALL the offers on the poster, not just the one with the star!
He also argued that it was down to discretion anyway, which I again disagreed with, as it has to be CLEAR to the CUSTOMER at POINT OF SALE .... which is POINT OF CONTRACT. I was induced into buying the product due to being mislead to believe I would get it at an offer price. Their own policy states under this circumstance I will get the money back for the product and get to keep the product. It says so at the entrance, which again induced sales from me.
(P.S. I did already try to get the refund with mentioning the expiry date issue to them, but they INSISTED that if an expiry date was on the poster, that it wouldn't be an overcharge. Which I disagreed with them about as it says nothing about expiry dates rendering r&r non-claimable on the POLICY board in store. But anyway that is why I decided to bring up the EXPIRY DATE issue with them. I had obviously also exhausted attempts to get a refund in store on the day a couple of weeks ago).
ANY ADVICE what to do tomorrow when he comes back with a negative on the r&r would be MUCH MUCH appreciated .... sorry for the length of the post, and I hope you are all still with me!
Cheers,
