    I've seen it all now.....

It's one thing a newbie posting "Guv, How do I get me XBOX for free then?"

But to ask a stranger from cyber-space to travel to an unknown store, fork out £320 on your behalf, go through the hassle of probably being told to 'go away' by CS staff - and then the Head Office process with Kevin and the Clubcard Girls......

    What planet are you on?

Perhaps you I could drop my sister/brother (delete as appropriate) around your place and you could sort him/her out whilst I R&R for you?

    Deary, deary me.

Go back to the store - when the shift has changed - do it yourself!

    Duder

I did intend giving them the cash to do it for me, not for them to fork out the money! Im not that daft! But thanks for your help

I was in Asda this morning and noticed that none of the fresh pre-packaged meat had shelf edge labels except ones that said price is on product, which of course it is. Price per kilo plus selling price is clearly shown. However the same applies to Tesco meat, wonder they bother with the labels and do not just tell shoppers that the price on the pack is the price it is, THEN if it scans higher than price pack there is a legitimate claim to R&R.

do you not think more people would notice that they had been overcharged if they did this?

No, less people would. The pack price is not the issue - the lower SEL price is. Remove the SEL and you remove the overcharge.

I may be wrong, (& if I am I'm sure someone will tell me), but it appears that the morally upright bods who think R&R is immoral, greedy, fraudulent etc etc, have obviously been reading the misprice thread, and the misprice discussion thread. They must have, in order to get the info for the offshoot threads & the poll. WHY if they feel so strongly that R&Ring is wrong, are they reading the threads at all?
I freely admit to checking my receipts, knowing from this site about overcharging. I find that I am overcharged on nearly every shop I do in Tesco. I also freely admit that I actively look for misprices, checking SELs, pack prices, dates etc, using info from this site, and my own common sense. If that makes me a serial R&Rer then so be it. If I can find anything to R&R I 'Grabbit', cos If I can't use it I know someone who can, who will be very grateful for a freebie. So all of you who disagree with the practice, carry on accepting you're being overcharged, but don't try to persuade the regulars that R&R is wrong, you won't succeed.
