Tesco misprice discussion area part 11

Hi everyone, I am new to this site, and just found the R+R thread today, so thought I'd walk up to my local tesco's and have a look.
I saw the nice(can't remember the name) chicken breasts and noticed that the sel was £7.19 a kg but on the pack price was £9.48/kg, but someone has put yellow stickers over the original pack price with the new revised price.
So i was a bit disappointed as my local tesco seems to be on the ball.
I bet that they have loads of R+R's as not being funny but even if i say so myslef i live in an above average town of affluent educated people who i bet are all on here!!:D and whom i would have thought would stand their ground with the cs people. ( can i add that i am reasonable educated but definatley not afflunet in any way)
Anyway had a look at some of the other mispriced stuff mentioned on here and again the yellow lable queen had got to them first.
However I did see 3 packs of the chicken breast lurkin without lables and grabed them quick, and also then noticed finest beef joints were priced at £7.98 a kilo and there were two different sel's both with lower prices. so i thought i'd give that a go too As i dint mind too much if no R+R as could use them anyway.
Sorry for rambling , but after a while at customer services explaning and a trip back to the shelves I got my 1st R+R for £25.92!!!:D :j :T
So excited i nearly crashed my trolley in to several people in a hurry to get out before they realised i was bad.
Must admit i felt really guilty all the way home untill i got back and read this thread about all the profits tesco make. And also even though i took my 2 bags for life i didn't get my green clubcard vouchers!! so dont feel too guilty now.
sorry for ramling , just love this site and the people on it, thanks!!:TGrocery Challenge Feb 14 £500 / Spent £572.10!
March 14 £500 / spent £488.45 :j0 -

Not only are you bad, you're a chav, thieving scum, shoplifter, criminal, etc. etc. Or so some would have you believe.
I, on the other hand, think you're doing just fine. Well done, but be careful because you'll soon be addicted.0 -

I would advise people to give correct names and addresses from now on when dealing with head office!
Spoke to Joanne earlier regarding the DS I got yesterday and she said she will be sending a check out to me. I did ask if I could go into the store as I was close by there today (R&Ring the trolley off another store)
So if you have to deal with head office dont try to be clever, just give them your real name and address (or at least an address where you can get your mail) or it could backfire on you.
Although I did wonder after accepting it..
What would she have done if I said I didnt have a bank account?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Finest pork joints mis-priced in Batley, left them there..0

Got me a HP deskjet printer/scanner/copier today on an expired SEL that said "Save £10 - £49.97" but got charged £59.97!
CS lady went and looked at the huge pile that had the big A4 label but dont think she looked at the shelf round the corner where the display model was!
Might go back tomorrow......Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

Just a thought...... but if Tesco did remove the SELs, would this really stop the overcharging? or do the prices vary that much that the guys n gals who adjust the tills in line with the price on the item, can't actually keep up with the change of pricing? They've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you
