Not sure- if i should ring up and cause a stir up, will be back in that store again soon as i need some bread and butter.
  • Hi first time poster - great thread, thanks to all!

I'm in the same situation, CS would not agreee a full refund so I accepted the refund on the basis I would speak to CS tomorrow. I hope I'm also in luck. Did you find out during the first call or was it a drawn out process?

Call them in the morning and come afternoon it will be sorted :) (they will phone back asking you to fax or email a copy of the receipts) pending on how you done it it may be the case of going to the store to be refunded and sorted there or they will send you a cheque by post - please remember to use your correct details, so no fake postcodes as you won't get you refund.

Don't make a habit of doing this too much as they will cotton on whats happening and you will be served with a banning order ;) (like some users here)

every little helps - roll on PS3 and the WII offers before xmas (Im ready and waiting!!! :p:p:p )

Thanks for the number...was looking for it. I'll let you know what happens.

What are people getting banned for? I'd rather let the R&R go than get a ban. It's the nearest of any shops to me and am going there a couple of times a week for milk bread etc.
The bans are happening when Tesco thinks you've been taking the pee. Keep your head down, don't go over the top and you won't get banned. You can't be tracked so easily if you don't use your clubcard.

Common sense should tell anyone to avoid the clubcard and debit/credit cards, cannot understand those that get themselves banned because they can't resist the clubcard points.

Would just add that doing your own local probably isn't the best move, with 1900 stores to choose from ...
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

    yes your correct Ed,
what i was hinting at is this:

DOES EVERYONE CHECK THAT THE MULTI SAVE ITEMS AT THE BOTTOM ARE CORRECT ?

OR DO WE JUST TRUST MR T TO BE CORRECT ?

Since I started this R&R game/hobby/stealing whatever you call it ( ) I now check my receipts like a hawk as I do not trust Tesco at all. Now with Tesco going into the market of home shopping catalogue like Argos and Woolworths (able to pick upo the product in store) I do wonder if the R&R policy will cover this - if so there will be hell to play if there is a misprice in the books!!!

I fact today I got 2 pouches of rice of Uncle Bens microwave bags for £1.11 each and gave them 2 vouchers to try the product for free and got refund £1.15 off the bill for each of the pouches . So as I "overcharged" tesco do I refund them £0.08 that I had extra from my overall total and let them keep the rice - never :p

Only had a few R&Rs (relatively minor) in the last few months. This was the only one where I used a Club Card.

People who have been banned: Have you been banned from just one store or all the stores and was it a decision by the store manager or head office?
