No, they can't. Contact HO. Stores are not allowed to alter the policy as they see fit, as it is a company policy. They sold you 4 racks, they overcharged you on 4 racks, they should refund you on 4 racks. If they want a bulk buy policy, it should be enforced at the till, and not just when you've been overcharged. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

You could always ask to see it in writing or if it has been added officially to the board behind CS (not just on a piece of A4 paper by that store manager)......©..®..(TM) NothingVentured.

Just like the man says, no condition can be imposed post sale that was not applied at point of contract.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Does it say "limited to three" on the big blue notice behind the CS desk? Thought not. But when does being wrong stop Tesco doing what they like. I'm sure if you phoned CS at Dundee in the morning they would say something about "manager's discretion". If that's the case, I would think the big blue price promise should include words like "if the manager feels like". Their whole attitude is totally dishonest.
I hope you gave them the fourth and smallest joint back and said "refund me".0 -

Edindevon wrote:No. He got the 56p discount, so was only charged £6.00 for the two boxes. Therefore he should have got £6.00 back.

Edindevon - you lost me on the above in bold
How I am reading the multisave at the moment is buy 2 boxes of chocs for £6 right - as the product is £3.28 each you will get £0.56 refunded on the savings on the till recipt off the final bill.
How does the OP get £6 refunded? - is the multibuy not working correcty?0 -
