the o/p (er me) got £6.56 refunded because the sel said 2 for £5, got charged £3.28 each, the new sel says 2 for £6 ( as pointed out to me cs..)
Hi Frequent, thanks for clearing up the confusion0 -

Okay, one last try.
The OP was charged £6.56 for the chocolates and then a multisave discount of 56p was applied, so he ended up paying £6.00 for them. The CS person presumably didn't take into account that the discount of 56p had been applied, so refunded him £6.56, which was 56p too much.
The original point I as making was that frequent said:
Now i'm thinking that the multi save prices don't add up either so watch out,
perhaps poss r&r on multi saves not coming off.
This is wrong. The multisave prices do add up fine if the up to date SELs are on display. You will only get R&R if an out of date SEL for 2 for £5.00 is on display.

) Full refund and 1 complete bundle later...
Hi first time poster - great thread, thanks to all!
I'm in the same situation, CS would not agreee a full refund so I accepted the refund on the basis I would speak to HO tomorrow. I hope I'm also in luck. Did you find out during the first call or was it a drawn out process?0 -

Probably me being thick that caused the confusion in the 1st place.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Thanks for the number...was looking for it. I'll let you know what happens.
What are people getting banned for? I'd rather let the R&R go than get a ban. It's the nearest of any shops to me and am going there a couple of times a week for milk bread etc.0 -
frequent wrote:Yep, and very nice they are to.
BBC news just said Mr T is making £70 profit per second.
The nice thing about reading that is the realisation that they actually lose money on my custom EVERY TIME I visit one of their stores.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -

yes your correct Ed,
what i was hinting at is this:
DOES EVERYONE CHECK THAT THE MULTI SAVE ITEMS AT THE BOTTOM ARE CORRECT ?
OR DO WE JUST TRUST MR T TO BE CORRECT ?Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Thanks Frequent, thought you meant that you DIDN'T get the sweets by your first post. The 2 for £5.00 is still working for a freebie.
The CS where I was were clever enough to deduct the 56p multibuy before my refund.
Every little helps for them & for me.0 -

As long as you don't keep doing it with the same debit/credit card or use your clubcard everytime you'll be fine.Pay cash as much as you can.Don't use a clubcard and have a name and a postcode that is right for the place where you are using. You'll be fine......©..®..(TM) NothingVentured.
