tried this in 3 stores the reason why some of the phones are in white is because ther ARE NOT part of the promotion. i got two phones in one store and failed in the other 2 stores, it was finally explained with reason to me in the last store.
the 10% off all "pay as you go" mobile phone, the words "pay as you go" are the tesco emblem for there own tesco mobile one's. so the others are not included some of the other phones are reduced but not all at 10% As this was misleading i was offered the 10% back the phones but had to decline the offer (saying, i felt i was being fobbed off) so you might get lucky but unfortunatley it actually isn't a misprice. !$"&&*&£$&*()() it annoyed me too but hey win some lose

You were definitely fobbed off! Utter ^&^%$£"$ what they were telling you, I'm afraid. Pay as you go is a generic term for phones that are NOT on contract!I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
Presumably TaxiPhil and others will have their bans overturned because when you are making £1.1bn profit in 6 months you don't want any scrutiny from regulators and politicians about your "sharp" business practices.
If the press picked up on this story properly (as any good sunday paper would) it would make a great investigate piece. i.e. Tesco are ripping off the consumer to the tune of billions of profit and anyone who complains about illegal overpricing is immediately banned from all stores nationwide! Makes a great tabloid story, or even better broadsheet piece. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
yep, the Press involved = very dodgy ground for Tesco0

Whilst trying to find some R&Rs last night I noticed that Tesco have now put several signs up around the fresh meat area saying "CCTV is in operation in this area to protect our customers, staff and stock" (they were not there last week when I had a couple of successful refunds). Protect them from what I might ask? Paying the correct price? If only Mr T would charge the correct price then there would never be any R&Rs, would there??

There is also a leaflet that goes with the 10% prromotion on all pay as you go phones. If you look on the back this includes phones from all networks. I think Tesco have just used there logo for the posters. There is also more detailed T&Cs on the leaflet and its does not state that it only applies to Tesco phones.0 -
Edindevon wrote:The OP was charged £6.56 for the chocolates and then a multisave discount of 56p was applied, so he ended up paying £6.00 for them. The CS person presumably didn't take into account that the discount of 56p had been applied, so refunded him £6.56, which was 56p too much.
I've noticed this on a couple of multibuy refunds. I don't think the multisaves are automatically deducted at the till on a refund (possibly as you could have bought the products before the multisave was valid) - so it's pot luck whether the CS assistant gives you the correct amount or not. Fortunately for me, I've been given more0
