NTL/Virgin Mobile. £10=300mins+300texts per month

I signed up for this and have been using it for a few months now. So far so good and the first lady I spoke to when I signed up was very friendly.

Unfortunately they ran out of the lobster fones but the lady was going to see what stock was going to be ordered.

Some bloke rang me back and said they no longer do the lobster phones anymore, they now just give out Nokia 1112. Well I wanted to hold out for more stock as u can get your free fone (for triple paying customers) at any time, but the bloke was adamant that they only do 1112.

Its a really sh*t fone and now Im extremely annoyed as it seems people are getting colour fones now. Why on earth did that idiot at Virgin tell me only 1112 are available.

Just bought one of these for Mrs S (to replace O2). Was offered Nokia 1112 or an LG phone - took the LG. Expected delivery date is 2 Jan which isn't bad!

The stock of Lobster 544's seems to come and go. A friend ordered earlier this week and got the Lobster. I wonder if the deal will really end tonight?

No lobster fones available when I signed up for the 2nd contract today, seems to be a choice of Nokia 1112 or LG 2100
I wonder how they manage their stock!

ordered one on 30th online and set up dd. got email to say virgin would process...then today got t/call to say problem with on-line dd info... gave info again and choose to keep current virgin no. now lets wait and see if it all goes smoothly...just got a blank network message......supposedly should have told me of 300 mins/messages I now have ....i live in hope..:rolleyes:

We have just received our 3rd sim from virgin, applied on line on wed night and it came this morning. My wife and I have the lobster phones and found them ok for everyday use.
The third sim is for our youngest lad (17) and @ £10 pm it will be cheaper for him,its a great deal.

I read a few posts above that they are no longer providing a lobster/nokia/lg phones with the deal ...is this correct or can a phone still be haggled out of them?
