No heating at home

Hi All

I have sent the letter of to the LL to tell him that he has now 7 days to fix all defects otherwise he will be reported to the HSE which I can see what is going to happen but i will give him the seven days

ok so Ive had my response from the LL he has stated that the work wont gtet done becuase he dosnet have the money to do it and has removed all obligations that I have and said that he will reduce the rent and let me move out when i find somewhere elso well found another house and moving in next saturday

What a strange thing to say, so he's now going to have no rent and still have no money to do the work. Nobody is going to move in with not heating. What a strange chap.

I'd push for paying no rent as he has not met his obligations, whn you are out consider reporting to the relevent authorities. It could be worse next time.

I will be reporting him when I have gone and yes he is very strange not to do the work

at the end of the day its his choice hes losing out not me

oh dear - he also has no gas at the property as no doubt it is still capped as repairs not done.

Ah but yopu are forgetting his special powers which allow him to uncap it not bound by the usual law and regulations like a mere mortal! Sometimes all you can do is shake you head...

lets hope it is capped on inlet then
