sky/sky + deals for existing customer

Hi all,

Sky+ Box died today (RIP ). I had tried a full reset etc (It's done it before) but this time absolutely nothing worked so rang up Sky.

Got no joy from technical, and I flatly refused to pay £65 for a call out cos
A: don't wanna and
B: I know I need a new box!

rang cancellations and said I want to leave cos I have no sky (broken) and can't afford to fix it.

So......I was offered a new Sky+ HD box and free installation ( no upgrade to HD channels but will get the BBC ones) and £7.50 credit to my account because I won't have Sky for 5 days while I'm waiting for the engineer! Result!!:j
