is it realy tuesday or wednesday mornings the best to ring to cancel ?
I dont want to cancel ..but our HD is crashing again and last time they told us it would require an engineer call out as it freezes in films and wipes the sky plus films we have saved. hoping if i threaten to just go with freeview they will offfer free engineer call out and an insentive to stay !! would love the new sky plus box which stores more and you can record two programs at once, but not interested in multi room ( as we have free view in playroom) or HD as we cant afford a new HD tv.
if they dont offer something dh wont be too happy , how long would i have to wait before we ring up and take out a new subscription ? ?
thanks

Sky arent charging me for next month, so i worked it all out, it makes me better off by £2.25, as well as getting half price for 6 months.
I just need to persuade my dad to go for this now, he will refuse but he is planning to cancel anyway as he is retiring soon and wont have as much money. Any tips on how to convince a grumpy old git please? He doesnt have sky+, just normal family pack.0 -
Sky rang me up yesterday and said I was chosen as one of a handful of special customers (Yeah, right!) I could upgrade from the family package to get the films for ONLY £8 pm extra until after xmas. I think I threw her when I said no thanks, lol. When it comes to thought, some people stop at nothing.........0

Phoned Sky, was paying £18 per month, got 25% discount for 12 months! Was also offered 1/2 price for 3 months. So managed to keep same channels but for £13.50 instead of £18 per month.2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0
