sky/sky + deals for existing customer

with the sky+ ......do you have to pay an additional £10 a month.........?

When we had sky+ installed last year we were told by the engineer we didn't have to have the extra box put in (multiroom) cos lots of people just have the sky+ box put in and then don't have the extra card activated.... does that make sense.

We saved the £60 and I had already got a discount on the box anyway.

im moving and sky is currently in my husbands name will we be able to cancel and then sign up in the new house as new customers in my name ?

We did that with no problems.We also got a friend to recommend us and they got £50 of m&s vouchers which we split.

I managed to sign up as a new customer just under my married name when I moved house and recommended myself so also got £50 m&s and when I cancelled my old subscription they were throwing deals at me, but of course I could't take them coz I was already getting another sky sub which worked out better as a new customer. In feb our 12 months will be up and I will be straight on the phone "cancelling" to try and get a better deal - mostly coz our money is really low anyway.

my husband phoned last week,we had 2 previous half price 3 months,run out july,he cancelled movies and only kept 2 mixes and sports,thought they might have offered discount but nothing off,so cancelled channels no longer required

I have spoke to Sky today and advised them I was thinking of having Sky + which is £99 + £60 installation
I said I have been with Sky for 10 years which they verified and felt as a loyal customer I was not getting the appreciation I deserve
They offered me Sky+ for £79 new box and installation . I have signed as I cant see that I will get a better deal especially as I have seen Sky+ and its good
