A lot has happened since then lol but I think I looked at her feedback to see who she had sold items to and then looked up what they had bought via goofbay.
Ah no, wires crossed someone earlier (Kattinka, on 1st page of this thread) seemed to know the identity of your buyer before you had let it known to everyone....was just wondering how they knew....
Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D

I think I'd also add that any further correspondence will be forwarded to the Police as it is fraudulent ;)

I'd given the Ebay listing number in one of my posts so kattinka probably looked her up from that.:)

Fantastic response! I wonder if she'll reply to that??
Well she did. With the following.....

"I EXPLAINED THIS WHOLE MESS TO EMMA YESTERDAY SO SHE CAN FILL YOU IN NEXT TIME YOU CHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOOKS LIKE NEITHER OF US ARE LIARS THEN IF THE BUGGY IS NOT EVEN BROKEN ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Angry doesn't half way explain how I feel about this.
However. She's not getting a rise out of me - despite her overuse of the exclamation mark and CAPS LOCK!!!!!!!!

    Good for you!

I think she has told that many lies that she doesnt know what the truth even is now!

The bottom line was that a couple of days ago she was quite willing to claim the whole amount back from you, even though she had the money in her hand as she had sold it on.

One to block thats for sure!!

Sounds like she has got aggresive through embarrassment. She's been caught out and wants it to be someone elses fault.

Ignore her now and for your own peace of mind imagine her sitting there , face scarlet with embarrassment at having been caught out so badly and angry at herself for ending up a laughing stock

I wonder what she was going to send back to you? Perhaps a huge box filled with stuff the same weight as the pushchair? What a totally scam hound.

I'm just hoping for the OP that following the recent exchange of emails with the buyer, that they will know its just not worth persuing, and will not send anything back, the 45 day limit ends saturday, so hopefully by monday it will be too late for her to do anything anyway.
  • What a horrible little sh*t of a buyer. Cannot believe she is still trying to front it out.

Really happy for you Op that you got in sorted with a bit of investigative work.
