I have just discovered a very useful site thank goodness (which I'm sure others on here know about) called goofbay. :T

I use goofbay sometimes a feedback checker before I buy something, I'll have to have a nosey round the whole site and find this little tool then!

So Katinkka sees they have bought another one, is that exactly the same as yours?

Just wondering if they bought two, decided which they want to keep. Selling one, keeping one, AND wanting a refund (perhaps they dont expect they will have to return it!) Is the one they are selling def yours? Can you see the area they say is broken on yours?

I would be tempted to contact the seller of the other pushchair too, if the buyer is scamming, they maybe doing the same thing to them!

Did this listing appear before they contacted you about a refund?

If they have bought/sold more than one of the same item its going to be very difficult for you to prove which one was yours in the event they send pics or return it. Bit of a pickle!
  • Oddly enough there is a scam like this in shops.
A person buys say a dress. They get recipt -all is good.
they then either steal a dress and take it home and take the tag off or stay in the shop and say they want to return it , they return the one with the security tag bag to the shop-get their money and the tag off...oh and the dress.. very clever- sounds a bit like what this seller has done...

regarding this other lady t1esa - i would print screen (the button" prtscr" and "fn" ) the page saying the buyer brought/sold a very similiar pram... you can then forward this to ebay.
  • Can I just say was it not a bit silly to say buyer could collect (I know this did not happen with actual sale) and tell them you were then off on hols ? Basically inviting burglar in ?
Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.
Encouragement always works better than judgement.

Quite probably if I lived anywhere 'normal' but as I live on an army camp which has secure access I doubt a burglar would be interested in bypassing guards with guns.
It will always be impossible to please everybody all of the time but so long as someone is happy with me somewhere at some point, my job here is done!

I find it a bit suspicious that so many feedbacks on cgtitles's account are hidden. I find it rare that someone wants to hide their transactions yet this person has 9/25 hidden.

No it's not the same as mine.

I can see it in their listing photo and it looks fine.

I'm not sure how to find this out as it was a 'Buy it Now'

I agree. I always think hidden items are a bit 'odd/suspicious'.

So it looks like she has sold your pushchair on at a shight profit, if she has then she will not be able to send it back to you, therefore you will not have to refund (paypal require a tracking number). Its a four wheel one, which is rare in the UK, so hopefully she will not be able to pick up one at a car boot and pass it off as yours.

I would suggest that you should be wary of any unexpected packages in the next few weeks...if this is a scam they could send you a pushchair shaped box filled with cardboard, they would have a tracking number and proof of delivery!!..some people play very dirty tricks.

The reason Im asking about timeframes, is that she may have subsequently decided to sell the pushchair on, as an alternative to getting a refund from you, she may now be happy and not be persuing you for a refund.
