For those of you who like me suffer from cold feet have you thought about proper sheepskin insoles. I buy foam backed ones from Kiwi Sheepskins and they're wonderful. Not cheap at just under £16 now but I wear my sheepskin boots everyday with these in usually from October to March and one pair of insoles will normally do. Also wear them bare footed to make the most of the sheepskin. I know Celtic Sheepskin do them cheaper but not sure if they're foam backed.

Yay. Managed to get 2 navy blinds. Will need to sew part of the second to the 1st as the kitchen window is too wide. It will make a HUGE difference to the temperature in the kitchen along with the 2 sets being remade by a friend for the french windows and the very big living room window.

Out e-on energy meter arrived 2 days ago and DH has become an energy fiend already. I'm all for it.

Hi all - WOW this thread is busy!!!

I was just about to put in my Craghoppers order and wondered if any of you lovely people knew of a discount code for the Craghoppers website please?

I will wait a few mins to see if I get a reply before ordering but am scared they will run out now that word is spreading!!!

EDIT - Also - is their sizing fairly accurate?

I got mine delivered this morning. I ordered the 14 which is supposed to be a 30" waist, but they're actually 34", so I'd say no. I'm having to send them back because they're too big for me even though I have a 33" waist. They're also loose on the hips.
I've now ordered another pair in a size 12. Hoping those ones fit as the trousers are very nice.

I've now bought 3 of those curtains mentioned today...kept remembering different windows that didn't have curtains!!! how thick am I!?

About to look for more fleece for lining existing curtains too. Has everyone got theirs up already or are you waiting until it gets colder?

I've got mine up now after the epic "let's decorate the kitchen while the curtains are down" along with the garden producing like crazy. No way I was putting them up without the linings.

Anyway, DH has caved in tonight and made a fire  IN AUGUST
