Husband spent all morning digging the bloody car out and the hill is pure ice and we are still stuck in. Thats nine days. We need a 4x4.
We have a 4x4. Doesn't help. Haven't been out for 12 days. We're still drinking the frozen milk, but it won't be long before we're reduced to the UHT.
I hope we can get out next week to pick up DS5 from the station. It's 18 miles away so we really don't want him walking it late at night in this sort of weather:eek:
:jI finally managed to post some pics:j
Here's our garden, when it had thawed a bit, before that last lot of snow you sent us mardatha...

Not overly cheap ( a Christmas present?) but I can highly recommend M&S houseboots at £15. My feet haven't felt cold indoors since I got them. They are machine washable - but according to my sister take quite a while to dry. Also keep ankles warm - lovely.

Oyes Sylvan, that looks familiar LOL! We got out with the loan of the daughters Rav. Came home to minus 14 and iced-up windows. Am on the couch in pyjamas and a dressing gown plus a woolly jumper on my feet
RV=Ratty Virgo. (OH) ! He's not vast. Just tall !0 -
