Well, I've also learnt what a rone is! Thank you. (I thought that Mardatha was meaning her rowan trees and excused her the bad spelling! Sorry Mardatha :o)
I'll certainly check out those books now and I don't care if they laugh at me for going to the kiddies section,. Do you need a different ticket? I've just started using the library again after years of neglect and was surprised to find that I didn't need to take my books in to be restamped as they just swiped my new library card. I could have just phoned or gone online apparently. Thought that I'd mention it for any one who is snow bound and facing an overdue fine...or is it just me living in the past?:o
JustaMum, I'm pleased that you now have your washing machine but am imagining you under a mountain of damp washing..how are you drying it all in this weather? Please stop before you disappear!:rotfl:
Hmmm, don't think you need a different ticket. There ae so many classics in the children's section that are for adults too. I renew online - it is so handy. Last time there was one book I couldn't renew online cos someone had reserved it. I rang up and explained that I couldn't get in to return it on time and they couldn't have been nicer - renewed it over the phone till I could bring it in. I LOVE libraries!

Where's the mind bleach? I feel almost sullied, me being such an innocent and all.

What a big change in temperature.

Yesterday it was about -14 here, not sure what it is now but we switched the central heating off at about 8pm and I have only just realised it hasn't come back on.

    :D

I have been doing the housework in just jeans and a T-shirt today :), even went out to check on my girls (the chickens) dressed like that 2 :o.
